Although it's a hair oil, I use it like a hair mask, applying it to my hair for 10-15 minutes before shampooing. The fragrance is lovely, and since it's silicone-free, it feels like it's truly nourishing my hair. I didn't notice any drawbacks while using it, but I read a review on another site saying that pure avocado oil was better value for money. So I might try that next time. The website tips suggest it's even better to apply at night before bed, so I tried using a small amount in the evening. It worked really well - it didn't make my hair greasy, so I slept comfortably. Additionally, once or twice a week in the morning before washing my hair, I apply this oil to my hair and a different scalp-exfoliating oil to my scalp, leaving it for 10-15 minutes before shampooing. My personal perfect combination is this oil + René Furterer Complexe 5 Fluid + René Furterer Forticea Shampoo.
