I've been using the Pitoresco cushion for five years now, and I keep repurchasing the pink shade specifically. My skin is extremely dry, so if I use the wrong base, it flakes and cracks around my nose and mouth. But this pink cushion feels like it adheres smoothly to my skin, which is why I stick with it. What I love most is how it evens out my complexion naturally without feeling like heavy coverage—it makes my skin look naturally flawless. The fact that I've been using it for five years says a lot about how well it works for my skin. If you love a natural, hydrated-looking finish, especially if you have dry or extremely dry skin, this cushion is definitely worth trying. Since I have extremely dry skin, I let my skincare absorb properly before applying the Pitoresco cushion in thin layers. Rather than applying a lot from the start, I spread a thin layer across my entire face first, then add another layer only where I need extra coverage for redness or blemishes. This gives me a much more natural, seamless finish. I have seriously combination dehydrated skin, and if I apply this wrong, it gets shiny and my cheeks show all my dead skin cells. But this cushion is literally a life-saver for me!! I first discovered it on Instagram and I'm already on my third purchase. My skin has a cool undertone and I'm dealing with dehydration, so I honestly can't recommend this enough!! I keep buying refills along with it every time, and the only thing holding me back is the price tag. Other than that, it's absolutely amazing!! I don't really have any complaints about blemishes or how it feels on my skin. I was worried about dead skin cells showing through, but that's not an issue at all. I've gone through so many bottles I've lost count—this is my absolute holy grail product. I keep one at home and another in my makeup bag at all times. As someone with acne-prone skin and blemishes, cushions usually apply unevenly, but this one goes on so smoothly and moisturizing without any patchiness. It's delightfully soft and hydrating. Highly recommended for winter use! Well, if you use this in summer, you might end up looking like an oil slick - not recommended! This product really shines in winter. Also, if you don't properly prep your skin beforehand, it might break down strangely after a while. So make sure to apply your winter skincare routine gently before using this. I've been using this cushion for a really long time, and I must say it has excellent adherence and gives a beautiful complexion. The staying power is impressive too. There are so many things I love about it that I've been sticking with this one for years now. If there's one thing that could be improved, it's the coverage. I was worried the BB cushion's shade wouldn't match, but it wasn't bad at all even for me who usually uses shade 21. It gives a bit of a dewy glow on its own and feels like an essence cushion... It feels moisturizing from the first application, so I think it would be great for those with dry skin. Oil builds up in the T-zone, making it look shiny, and if you touch your face with your fingers, it leaves marks. I have combination dehydrated skin through and through! My skin doesn't break out much, so I only need to cover dark circles and redness around my nose. With my skin type, if I don't prep well or use the wrong cushion when my skin's acting up, it can look super cakey. The color is great - it's a slightly pink-based shade that's close to my skin tone! I usually go for a 21-22 since I'm darker than 21 but lighter than 23. This gives me just the right amount of brightness and covers my yellowish undertones perfectly. I'm sensitive to scents, but this one doesn't bother me at all. Some cushions have an overpowering smell when you open them, but this just has a subtle, typical cosmetic fragrance that you only notice if you really sniff it. As for coverage, my main concerns are dark circles, yellow undertones, redness around the nose, and hyperpigmentation. One application covers all that nicely. For stubborn dark circles, I layer it thinly a few times for perfect coverage. It feels so much lighter and more comfortable than the heavy, high-coverage products I used to use! The cushion design is sleek and luxurious. I love that the puff is black instead of beige - it makes it so much easier to see if you've picked up enough product. Even after a full day out, it doesn't break down badly since it's not a matte formula. No darkening either! Touch-ups are a breeze. May 12, 2024 Sensitive/Very Dry Skin Why did I only discover this now? While it doesn't provide extreme coverage, it's enough to conceal blemishes. It creates a moisturized, dewy complexion and doesn't leave mask marks even when wearing a face mask! It feels like there's no darkening of the skin at all... As someone with very dry skin, I felt a slight dryness after some time, but my skin still had a beautiful glow
