Skin type: Combination dehydrated + Enlarged pores + Bumpy texture + Redness Personally, I'm quite disappointed with this cushion foundation... I lost my usual cushion, so I rushed to Daiso to buy this one in a pinch. I had seen some positive reviews on social media, so I had decent expectations. But wow, was I let down. First off, even the #21 shade is incredibly dark... with a bit of a yellow undertone too. Secondly, to put it kindly, it's moisturizing. But really, it's just sticky... Definitely not a cushion for summer use. Third, there's absolutely zero staying power. The photo above was taken just 3 hours after application... It settles unattractively into pores and clings to dead skin cells, creating a patchy, pilled-up mess. In person, it looks even worse. Fourth, there's no coverage to speak of. It provides less coverage than even a tinted sunscreen. Lastly, the product barely transfers to the puff at all... Even when I press really hard, hardly any product comes out. And this is brand new! Longevity, coverage, texture, amount, shade - there's not a single aspect of this product that I like... - kg*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2025
It goes on sheer and light, but evens out my skin tone beautifully - I'm hooked! It's so hydrating that there's no patchiness, making it perfect for a quick application when I'm in a rush. The coverage is minimal, so concealer is a must! If you need to hide a lot, you might be disappointed. The formula is quite hydrating, so you'll definitely need to set it with powder. - so*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessJul 13, 2025
This product is better suited for those with clearer skin rather than those with blemishes or troubled skin. It's a semi-glow cushion that I'd recommend for people with dry skin, and for those with combination dehydrated skin, I'd suggest using it in winter. This product offers low coverage and only somewhat evens out the skin tone. While layering can increase coverage, I personally found it looked heavy, so applying a thin single layer worked better for me. When used in summer, it tends to slide off, and by afternoon, it breaks down, making pores look more visible. Be sure to set it with powder. For reference, I experienced significant eye irritation and a slight tingling sensation on my skin after use. As a Hwahae Tester, I want to emphasize that individual experiences may vary. If you have super sensitive skin, it's always best to patch test first. Remember, finding the right product for your unique complexion is key to achieving that coveted Inner Glow!
