But when I actually tried it on, it was absolutely amazing! Usually, to achieve this lip look, you'd need to go through lip pencil, lip base, tint, and then gloss. With this product, you just need cream shell and tint, which is fantastic. It's also easy to touch up, so I'm really loving it. Since it's a tinted gloss, it tends to settle into lip lines quite noticeably. Because it can settle into lines, applying it to the inner part of your lips can be disastrous. I always focus on applying it to the outer lip line and avoid the inner part almost entirely. For the inner part, I use a different main color tint or gloss. Then I gently press my lips together once (don't overdo it) and softly blend the edges with my finger. I'm absolutely in love with the color. As someone who adores nude lips, I personally find this pairs exceptionally well with the BRTC salmon nude lip pencil. It's a match made in heaven! Being a gloss, you shouldn't expect long-lasting wear... However, for those of us who rock glosses even in summer, we're already used to reapplying every half hour or so, so it's not a big deal.
