I have a light undertone with low saturation and high brightness. My skin seems to be more affected by brightness than warmth. When I use high-saturation lipsticks, I instantly look like a strict teacher! That's why I've been using this product as a blush or accent lip color. Its velvet texture makes it easy to use as a blush. Just dab a bit on a puff and blend from under the eyes downward for a dreamy red makeup look! The red isn't too warm, so even I could pull it off - though I use it sparingly, of course. As a lip color, you need to use even less than you would on your cheeks. It's highly pigmented and can quickly become deep with just a little application. The formula doesn't slip or clump, making it easy to use. It creates a blurry effect and doesn't have that dry, tight feeling on the lips, which I love. Unfortunately, the color doesn't quite suit me, so it's not a product I can use often... If your complexion is similar to mine, I'd suggest carefully considering your purpose before buying this as a lip product. - hr****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresApr 26, 2025
This tint applies with a velvety, powdery finish. For a velvet tint, it's not overly drying and feels lightweight on the lips. The Pearl Syrah Red shade is a classic, quintessential red. You can create various looks by applying it thinly for a fresh appearance or layering for a more intense color. I personally dab a small amount and blend it out to give my complexion a healthy boost. While the staining power isn't too strong, applying a thin layer that fills in between lip lines provides a comfortable wear that lasts a bit longer. The product tends to clump when dispensed, so you need to be careful with controlling the amount. The pigmentation is quite strong, so applying too much can make the color look like it's floating on your lips. I found the shade too intense and vivid, so I had to use other tools or my fingers to blend it out, which was a bit of a hassle and made me reach for it less often. - ei***********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedJan 5, 2025
While the color is quite intense, it looks truly beautiful when applied thinly in small amounts. The pigmentation is really excellent - it's so rich that even a tiny bit lasts for about 2 hours before it starts to fade. The staying power is fantastic. I highly recommend this for those with warm, deep undertones. The color is extremely intense, so if you apply too much, you might end up looking a bit mature. Also, it stains very easily. - pa********Oily SkinDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 27, 2024
I really liked it. The color is vibrant without being too intense, with a hint of cherry rather than a classic red. It wears off significantly after eating. The lipstick transfers a lot. It's uncomfortable when eating. - j3******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 7, 2023
It's just your typical red lip color, but that's what makes it so versatile and easy to wear. I like it for that reason. This entire line seems to have the same issue - it fades quickly, so you need to touch up often. - il**************Combination SkinDark CirclesRecommendedOct 11, 2023
This velvet-type tint has an oil-like texture that prevents dryness. The color payoff is incredibly vivid - even a light dab delivers intense pigmentation. The shade is a perfect deep red, ideal for winter cool-toned complexions. Controlling the amount of product can be challenging, as a lot comes out at once. It's essential to wipe the applicator on the bottle's rim for better control. The longevity isn't particularly impressive, and it tends to transfer easily. However, touch-ups are relatively simple. - w5********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 5, 2023
The color payoff is great, and it feels moisturizing on the lips while being dry to the touch. It doesn't transfer much either. I wouldn't particularly recommend this for warm skin tones. It might make your lips look a bit off. It's more suitable for cool skin tones, especially in winter. - jo*******Combination SkinApr 5, 2023
It smudges well and applies smoothly. If I had chosen a better color, it could have been a great daily item. It's easy to apply, making it perfect for occasional accent lips. The color is too intense for me to reach for it often. But that's probably my personal issue. The real problem is its poor staying power and tendency to transfer easily. I find myself avoiding it when I plan to eat something. - ll***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2023
The color is truly vibrant and pigmented! The shade you see on the outside is exactly what appears on your lips... It's more of a semi-matte type rather than moisturizing, and it doesn't dry quickly on the lips, making it great for gradient effects. Once it's fully dry, it sets well! Since it's slightly matte, it can emphasize dead skin cells on the lips a bit - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 18, 2023
I love how it lasts quite a while after application. I usually use red products, and I like the red tint of this one. It's also less matte than others. As expected, it inevitably fades after eating and drinking. That's hard to avoid, unfortunately. For best results, apply this product to well-prepped lips first. Then, to prevent a matte look, add a small amount of lip balm. This technique helps the color last longer and keeps your lips somewhat moisturized.
