I love the refreshing feeling, excellent cleansing effectiveness, and how it doesn't make my hair feel heavy. The crisp, invigorating scent is a nice touch too! It leaves my hair feeling slightly dry. The bottle design is a bit old-fashioned, but I appreciate its transparency. It feels cool and refreshing when using, and rinses out easily. It does a great job of controlling excess oil. If I don't wash my hair for just one day, it gets super greasy. It's amazing how this shampoo tackles that extreme oiliness! My hair settles down nicely and doesn't stick to my scalp anymore. I've got seriously oily hair, and I've tried pretty much every shampoo for oily hair out there. This one is hands down the best at controlling oil. (There's just one small downside, which is why I'm taking off one star.) The one drawback is that it might control oil a bit too well, leaving your hair feeling dry and difficult to brush. But I can live with that since it gets rid of the greasiness so effectively. Just make sure to use a conditioner along with it! It's perfect for use in the summer. Affordable price Generous amount Pleasant cool scent Lathers well I tried it thinking it would be good for oily scalp. While it lathers well and has a refreshing scent, it doesn't give that deep clean feeling. My hair gets greasy quickly after washing, even faster than with other shampoos. I bought it because it was cheap, but now I can't even use it up. Not recommended for those with excessive sebum production like me.

Using Ryo shampoo seems to reduce hair loss. I counted 28 strands while washing and 10 while drying. They say losing less than 40 strands combined during washing and drying is normal. It makes my hair feel slightly stiff. I'm using it because I have it at home, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy it. Once I finish this bottle, I plan to try a different type of Ryo shampoo. It produces slightly less lather compared to other shampoos. Be generous with the pumps. Conditioner or hair essence is a must.
