It dissolves well and has great cleansing effectiveness. I really love S.Nature for being free of harmful ingredients. Nothing negative to report. I'm always satisfied with this product. Please have sales more often. - da********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 7, 2025
It absorbs smoothly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated even after washing my face! The lid was a bit inconvenient for me. I think a regular cap would be more practical than the flip-top design. - jj*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 7, 2025
I usually stick to oil and cleansing foam, but this cleansing balm is surprisingly good! It removes makeup effectively, doesn't clog pores, and I'm really enjoying it. I haven't found anything particularly disappointing about it. I'm using it with satisfaction. - ab*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 4, 2025
It has great cleansing power and was gentle on my skin! The scent wasn't bothersome at all. I used it up so quickly that I'll need to buy another one soon, unfortunately. - ko********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 29, 2025
I have sensitive combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks, forehead, and chin. As soon as I opened it, there was a subtle rice-like scent that instantly put me in a good mood. The texture starts as a solid balm but melts smoothly into an oil-like consistency when applied. It removes makeup effectively and leaves my skin feeling moisturized without any tightness, even after double cleansing. It's so gentle that it doesn't sting my eyes, making it perfect for those super sensitive skin days. I especially love how it helps smooth out my skin texture when I'm dealing with dead skin cells. The only downside is that cleansing balms tend to be pricey, so you don't get a lot of product for the cost. I didn't have any issues with the product itself. Here's my application method: I use a spatula to scoop out the product, melt it in my palms, then gently massage it onto my face. Instead of using a tissue, I rinse with lukewarm water before following up with a foam cleanser. This approach makes for an even gentler and more thorough cleanse. - rn*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedJun 28, 2025
This product cleanses well and feels gentle on the skin. I'm really satisfied with it! There's nothing to complain about. Overall, I'm satisfied and like it. The translation maintains the positive tone of the original text while using natural English expressions. The cleansing effectiveness is highlighted, and the gentle feel on the skin is emphasized. The overall satisfaction is conveyed in both the positive and negative sections, staying true to the original sentiment. - tl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 26, 2025
My first cleansing balm review I've been using various types of cleansers depending on my skin condition, but I heard that double cleansing can damage the skin barrier. So, I decided to try using only a cleansing balm as my primary cleanser for about two weeks. I removed my eye makeup beforehand, and I found the cleansing effectiveness to be quite good. After washing, I didn't feel like there was much residue left on my skin. So far, I don't have any complaints about this cleansing balm. I'll update my review after using it a bit more. - rj*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJun 25, 2025
I can't really pinpoint any standout positives. I think it's probably similar to most other products out there. Maybe it's because I was so satisfied with my previous product... I used this from winter 2024 through spring 2025. Before that, I was using Hygge's cleansing balm. In terms of texture, cleansing effectiveness, and hydration, this doesn't seem to measure up to the Hygge one. I bought this set with the cleansing foam because it was on sale at a great price, but I don't think I'll repurchase it. The reviewer seems to have high standards for skincare products, particularly cleansing balms. They're comparing this product to a previous favorite from Hygge, which set a high bar in terms of performance. The lack of enthusiasm suggests that while this product may be adequate, it doesn't offer any exceptional benefits that would make it stand out in a crowded market. The price point, even when discounted, wasn't enough to overcome the perceived shortcomings in performance compared to their preferred brand. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2025
I often use cleansing milk, but in summer it seems insufficient for removing sebum and oil. So I bought this cleansing balm. My skin barrier breaks down easily, so I typically use milk cleansers to minimize irritation. This balm, however, effectively removes sebum without irritating my skin, which I really appreciate. There's nothing I dislike about it. Though I wish they'd make a squeeze-tube version of this cleansing balm... As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm always on the lookout for gentle yet effective cleansers. This balm strikes a great balance between cleansing effectiveness and maintaining my skin's oil and moisture balance. It's particularly useful for combination dehydrated skin types like mine, especially during the warmer months when we need that extra cleansing power. The balm texture absorbs well into the skin, effectively removing dead skin cells and excess sebum without causing any burning sensation or tingling. It's become an essential part of my daily skincare routine, helping to even my skin tone and maintain that coveted inner glow. - ap******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessJun 20, 2025
[My Skin Type] - Extremely sensitive skin with a compromised skin barrier - Reactive to many ingredients (Many commonly well-tolerated ingredients like niacinamide and aloe don't agree with my skin... sigh) - Combination dehydrated skin (but it doesn't feel tight right after cleansing!) ES Nature Aqua Rice Cleansing Balm Cleansing effectiveness: Excellent Irritation level: Low In my experience, the cleansing power was quite good. It seemed to remove all my makeup with just the first cleanse. However, I typically wear light makeup, so that might be why I felt this way. For those who wear light makeup, a single cleanse with this might be sufficient! Recommended skin types: While it may not be suitable for extremely sensitive skin, it could be worth trying for those with sensitive skin looking for a cleansing balm! Also, it might work well for those with dry skin who have a healthy skin barrier. Since it's a balm type, there's a potential for clogged pores, so I wouldn't strongly recommend it for oily skin types (though it should be fine if you follow up with a second cleanse!) From my perspective, there was some irritation... It felt quite irritating, actually. While it didn't cause any blemishes, I experienced stinging and redness. Also, this is just a feeling, but after cleansing, there was a sort of... residue? The after-feel wasn't great, it's hard to describe exactly. Remember, everyone's skin is different, so what didn't work for me might be perfect for you. It's always best to patch test new products, especially if you have sensitive skin.
