First off, it leaves my skin texture looking smooth and refined. As someone who doesn't struggle much with darkening, I was quite satisfied. I also loved how my skin stayed looking hydrated even as time passed! Personally, I prioritize hydration over coverage, and this product met my standards admirably in terms of moisture. While it didn't completely conceal my blemishes, it did a pretty good job of covering them up. The color is more on the pink side rather than yellow-toned, which gives my skin that coveted porcelain-like appearance! Hmm, it does tend to pill... Even lightly scratching my face leaves visible marks where the product has moved. Out of all the products I've tried, this one seemed to suit me best, so I wanted to repurchase it... The formula is completely matte, which I love! As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I used to stress over my base makeup breaking down unattractively due to excess oil. But this product doesn't do that at all. I personally prefer a powdery finish and love how my skin looks right after application. Interestingly, others have commented that my skin looks beautiful even when it gets a bit dewy later. Before discovering this, I used Espoir Be Silk, which was good, but I haven't touched it since trying this one. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys matte formulas! Due to its matte nature, any dead skin cells become quite noticeable quickly. It's manageable if you boost hydration and exfoliate in your evening routine! Even when I layer this over a rich moisturizer, it still gives a slight glow rather than becoming too dewy. It's nice to be able to switch up my base depending on my mood.

As someone with dry skin, I find it applies thinly and adheres well without emphasizing dead skin cells or texture. There's no noticeable scent, and it's easy to apply whether you use your hands or a puff - it's just an effortless foundation to work with. Being a liquid foundation with a water-like consistency, it provides good coverage when layered thinly. It comes in a pump bottle, and the pump works smoothly - not too stiff or difficult to dispense, allowing you to pump out just the right amount. My friend with oily skin found that it didn't absorb well into her skin. Among liquid formulations, this seems to be better suited for those with dry skin. Also, I occasionally experienced blemishes when using it. I started using it in summer, so I'm not sure if the breakouts were due to wearing makeup in hot weather or the product's ingredients. However, since I've rarely had issues with foundations causing blemishes before, I suspect it might be related to the ingredients. Because it applies so thinly and has a beautiful color, it's excellent for layering in your base makeup routine. You can meticulously build thin layers of primer, color corrector, and illuminator as desired, then use this to unify the overall color. If your face is too oily or moist, the foundation won't adhere well, so make sure to thoroughly absorb your base products before applying. It feels like it applies thinly, and the staying power was decent. It's suitable for use in spring and summer. It's more matte than moisturizing. I absolutely love this! I've been using The Face Shop's Ink Lasting foundation, but as it's gotten a bit warmer lately, my skin's been feeling oilier. I was looking for something more matte, and I lucked out during an Aritaum sale, snagging this at an incredible price. It has a semi-matte finish that doesn't cling to the sides of my nose or let oil breakthrough, yet it doesn't make my skin feel tight. It's a dream! I've only used it three times so far, so I can't pinpoint any major flaws yet. However, it seems like you need to really work it into the skin for a seamless finish. The staying power and coverage were decent. It didn't break down much and didn't cause any darkening. It's a solid, middle-of-the-road product, though not particularly outstanding. There's nothing bad to report, it was all fine. It's a shame more people don't know about it. Coverage is about 60 points out of 100. It's a product that boasts natural coverage, but as someone with freckles, I recommend layering or using a concealer. Staying power is around 80 points. I applied it before work, and even at 4 PM, I received compliments on how radiant I looked. However, I noticed some creasing and dryness around my eye area. Mixing a bit of eye cream or oil helped with that. For my dry skin, using a mask the night before made it work well. As others have mentioned, it pairs perfectly with the Cep base. Using them together extends wear time, creates a smooth skin finish, and improves longevity. Overall rating: about 79 points. It's definitely a good value for money product. As someone with a lot of freckles, I found the coverage and dryness a bit disappointing. Ingredients: Approved! Compared to foundations from various brands, this one has relatively skin-friendly ingredients. Even on my sensitive skin, I removed it after 8 hours of wear and didn't experience any blemishes. In the past, even expensive brand foundations often clogged my pores and caused breakouts, so I've become extra cautious about ingredients. In that respect, CLIO was great. Application: Semi-matte formula It's not too runny like water, nor is it thick and heavy. It has a consistency similar to a moisturizer. The feel of application can vary depending on the type of foundation brush you use. Adherence: Achieve a plump skin look when applied after a hydrating skincare routine! (If you apply it hastily without proper skincare, it can feel a bit dry. Make sure to build up a hydrating base first! It also covers pores well. I recommend using a dense, fluffy cushion-type brush for better coverage!) Longevity: The more thorough your skincare routine, the longer it lasts. One day when I was running late, I only applied toner and moisturizer before the foundation, and it started breaking down and revealing my pores within 3-4 hours. Make sure to use a hydrating serum or essence before applying moisturizer and foundation! (Alternatively, you could try mixing the foundation with a hydrating essence) This foundation offers good value for money, so there's not much to complain about. However, if you skip the makeup base, its longevity decreases and your skin may feel tight more quickly. But that's probably true for most foundations. It pairs perfectly with CLIO's Starter Jet (makeup base)! The shades tend to run light, so make sure to test before purchasing!
