I'm writing this review after receiving multiple samples! First off, it's a white cream with an excellent absorbs and has a texture between a cream and a light balm. I don't really notice any particular scent... maybe a hint of aloe?! They generously provided about 10 free samples. The reason: I had used a faulty MTS roller that left my skin looking like it had been scraped with window shutters, with needle marks scratched both horizontally and vertically. I even bled a bit! Worried about potential scarring, I've been applying Madecassol and scar ointment as emergency treatment. Seeing this, they gave me these samples to soothe my now super sensitive skin. But guess what? It's not just for wounds and scars... For my dry skin, it absorbs well, and the hydration and moisture are amazing! Of course, I applied a light emulsion or lightweight moisturizer first, then finished with this product. I'm so satisfied with how it keeps my skin hydrated and moisturized! There's no bothersome scent, and I don't feel any tingling after application. Hmm, the downside is...!!!!!!!!! While I didn't notice any immediate effects on my skin after short-term use, looking at the ingredients list... It contains fragrance and 3 out of the 20 ingredients to be cautious about. Skin type: Dry skin) Don't just apply this alone. Try applying it after an emulsion or a light moisturizer. If you apply it before bed, your skin feels great the next day (no dryness). - th**********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2023
Great for dry skin as it provides excellent hydration without feeling sticky. Absorbs well with sunscreen and BB cream. The high aloe content enhances its moisturizing properties. Only sold at Esperance Aesthetic Dermatology clinics and quite expensive. Buying in bulk is more cost-effective. - _y*Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 12, 2022
It's a balm type rather than a gel, so it absorbs beautifully. The scent is familiar, like something I've smelled before, and it feels wonderfully moisturizing on dry skin. It finishes with a slightly sticky feeling, and when you apply makeup over it, you might experience some pilling or separation. - cj*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 8, 2022
I first tried this at my dermatologist's office and loved it so much that I'm going to keep using it The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but everything else about it is great - 07*****Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 26, 2021
Facts: Blemishes become less noticeable in just 2-3 hours. Pimples disappear overnight. It's expensive, really expensive. Limited availability. However, I'm happily using it, thinking of the money I'm saving on dermatologist and facial spa visits. As a guy, I'm not too familiar with these things. I used to have skin where one pimple would disappear only for another to appear. Since using this, I haven't had any new blemishes. - bi*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 21, 2021
The hydration is fantastic! My skin feels moisturized even when I wake up, and it stays dewy even under a mask. It works hard to keep my skin hydrated all day long. The price is quite steep, and it's not readily available in stores. I can only purchase it from dermatology clinics, which is a bit inconvenient. - vi*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2021
As soon as you apply it, you instantly feel this rich yet hydrating sensation! I have combination dehydrated skin and have struggled with extremely dry patches for a while, but in my experience, this product strikes a great oil and moisture balance. I love how it provides a plumping hydration that really locks in moisture. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that Speranse products aren't available for retail purchase and can only be bought at dermatology clinics. If possible, I recommend using this along with the Speranse toner and soothing gel. While each product is great on its own, I noticed a definite synergy in hydration when using them together. - eu*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2020
Absorption: It has a light, fluid texture that applies effortlessly. Absorbs well: It feels like it's instantly sinking into the skin. Lovely fragrance! It's such a shame that this product is only available for purchase at dermatology clinics and esthetic centers. - ki********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 30, 2020
The cool weather and wearing masks were causing small bumps and redness on my chin, but thanks to the aloe ingredient, it's calmed down a lot! This product has really reduced those pesky bumps. Of course, I've been careful too, but they don't appear as much as before. My previous moisturizer was a bit lacking in hydration, but this one is packed with both moisture and hydration, which I love! The price... The volume is large, so I want to apply it generously, but when I think about the cost, I can't bring myself to use too much. It's not exactly a pro tip, but I apply extra to areas with small bumps or dry patches, and in the morning, my skin feels so much more hydrated! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 11, 2020
It's gentle, making it perfect for seasonal changes. Great for balancing oil and moisture levels! While it's not too thin, those with dry skin might find that it absorbs quickly, leaving the skin feeling dry again.
