Absorbs well and has great ingredients. If it weren't for the color issue, I'd love everything about it. I bought the pink shade, but no matter how I apply it, it comes out closer to red. It does apply with a nice moisturizing feel. Yes, you're right, it is quite hydrating. Not recommended for warm skin tones... It's such a vivid pink! How are warm-toned folks supposed to use this? For warm skin tones, apply just a little and use a clear lip balm for the rest.

As someone with a light undertone who dislikes pink, I find that while the color isn't too intense, it does have a somewhat fluorescent light pink tint. If you like this kind of shade, you'll probably enjoy it. As I used it more, I realized the fluorescent tint was a bit strong for applying without looking. Because of this, I found myself reaching for it less and less over time. I bought this lip balm in a hurry because I ran out, and it's surprisingly amazing. It's moisturizing and the color payoff is great, making it perfect for a natural look. The ingredients are so gentle that it would be suitable even for those with super sensitive skin. I didn't buy it here, but I picked it up at Olive Young because it was affordable. The color is a natural pink, not as delicate as cherry blossom petals, but a pretty pink shade. With two layers, it gives a tint-like effect, but I prefer just one layer for a more natural look. Usually, tinted lip balms show lip lines and dead skin cells, and the tone often doesn't match well. But this one, perhaps because it's from Plant Base, is great for wearing at school and applies beautifully like a pretty tint. I'm really impressed... You absolutely must try it! It's a white lip balm that changes color when applied, but disappointingly, the part that touches your lips turns pink instead of staying white as you use it. I've been using this for over half a year now. It's great for adding a subtle, lively glow when you're going bare-faced. However, if you have very dry skin, it's best to apply a regular lip balm first, then follow the natural lip lines with this product. Since it's a combination of lip balm and color, one aspect might be compromised. I find the moisturizing effect of the lip balm slightly lacking. To combat this, I apply a regular lip balm first, then follow my lip contours with this product. The color is beautiful and it's fragrance-free! The shade intensifies the more you apply. It slightly emphasizes dead skin cells and doesn't feel particularly hydrating.
