After using it for about two months, I can say it creates a truly beautiful skin finish and applies in a thin layer! The staying power doesn't seem to be great, and it tends to break down as time passes, unfortunately. - rd********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDec 17, 2024
Initially, it feels moisturizing when applied. The lightweight formula allows for a thin, even application. I bought this after reading reviews, but it didn't suit my skin. As time passed, it caused dead skin cells to surface, made my skin look patchy, and emphasized my pores. Touch-ups would pill, and the flaking dead skin cells made my face look even messier. My skin became itchy. If any water touched my face, the product would run, leaving streaks and making me look unkempt. Out of all the foundations I've recently purchased, this is definitely the worst. - hh*****Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 14, 2024
It absorbs smoothly without pilling, leaving a healthy glow that makes your skin look radiant. Despite its light coverage and bright tone, it doesn't quite achieve that luminous complexion I was hoping for. Surprisingly, applying it with your fingers gives a more natural finish. - gh****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 11, 2024
The adherence is decent and it's moisturizing, making it suitable for winter use. I plan to continue using it as the season progresses. I've heard it might cause blemishes, but I'll need to keep an eye out to see if that's actually the case with this product. - se*******Combination SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 5, 2024
Even after evening workout, it didn't look cakey and instead gave a subtle glow. Usually my face feels tight and dry by evening, but with this, it wasn't dry at all. It applies smoothly - just quickly spread it with your hands and pat with a puff for a seamless finish. They said it has no coverage, but it was better than expected and even covered pores well (I don't have big scars, just a few acne marks on my chin). I have sensitive skin, but it didn't cause any blemishes even after removing makeup. I bought 120 because it's the most popular, but even though I'm a 20-21 warm tone, it made me look like I was wearing kabuki makeup with a grayish BB cream tint. The photo makes it look like it matches my neck, but in person it's whitish with a subtle gray tone. There's still some caking around the nose, and since it's so thin, that area completely wears off by afternoon, making touch-ups necessary. If the color match was right, this could be the best foundation ever. But as a warm tone 20-21, I'm not sure which shade to choose. It seems like I should pick from 120, 130, or 160, but I've heard 130 has a pinkish undertone, and some blog reviews say 160 is slightly grayish too. I wonder if all Shiseido foundations have a grayish undertone? Can someone please recommend a shade? - ha**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 22, 2024
• Skin Type Dry / Lots of dead skin cells / Estimated shade 17 • Color I chose shade 120 after reading reviews that 110 has a slightly grayish tone. The formula is so thin and transparent that it blends naturally with my skin tone. While it doesn't give a radiant boost, it evens out my complexion by about one shade! I'd recommend choosing a shade or two lighter than your usual foundation. • Texture I absolutely loved how it doesn't have that typical heavy foundation feel! It applies so lightly that you can barely tell you're wearing anything. Highly recommended for those who prefer lightweight makeup! • Coverage If you're expecting high coverage, you might be a bit disappointed. It offers more coverage than a brightening moisturizer, but it won't completely conceal blemishes or scars. It provides just enough coverage to slightly blur pores and even out the skin tone. Perfect for those who love a natural makeup look. • Longevity Due to its hydrating formula, it's not exceptionally long-lasting. However, the way it wears off is really beautiful! Instead of flaking or clumping, it naturally blends with your skin's oils, giving a dewy, healthy-looking finish. Sometimes it even looks prettier as it wears throughout the day! The lack of coverage might be a downside? Haha. But for those who prefer a natural skin look, this could actually be seen as an advantage! Choose a shade or two lighter than your usual! - 36**Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedNov 3, 2024
Incredibly moisturizing with an insane skin finish! It's the lightest and best foundation I've ever purchased. It comes off easily... However, it doesn't cake even when reapplied. There's no darkening, but it does wear off a bit too quickly. - cj********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedAug 11, 2024
Combination dehydrated skin/Redness/T-zone pores/21 skin tone Bottom line... you absolutely must buy this! It truly makes your skin look amazing and has excellent adherence!!! (Combination dehydrated skin needs partial powder application) I have no blemishes, but due to redness on my cheeks, T-zone pores, and uneven texture, I never even dreamed of using a glowy foundation. But after hearing so many good things, I read multiple reviews and decided to purchase! (110 was sold out everywhere, so I bought 120) My skin is really tricky and super sensitive. Because of my combination dehydrated skin and redness, I've only used high-coverage, matte or semi-matte products. I can't even count how much money I've wasted on compacts and foundations... I've tried everything that's supposed to be good, but for me, every 'pro' was also a 'con' (the cons were as significant as the pros). Trying to cover redness, I kept looking for products with good coverage and staying power, so I couldn't even dream of something thin with an Inner Glow... It applies incredibly thinly with great adherence, and for a glowy product, it has good staying power! First of all, it makes your skin look amazing... (It doesn't completely cover redness due to low coverage!) The application is really good, so it looks beautiful even when applied with fingers!! Highly recommended for daily use... It covers pores and uneven texture well! The price... it's expensive. That's about the only downside. Planning to repurchase!! I think 110 might look brighter! 120 is recommended for shade 21! Anything higher looks too natural. For combination dehydrated skin types, after evening out your skin tone - apply a thin layer of foundation, or apply a thin layer of foundation first, then use concealer on necessary areas, and finish with a light dusting of powder!! (It definitely has less staying power than matte foundations, but it fades beautifully) Always apply in thin, multiple layers!! If you apply it thick from the start, it will break down quickly and won't look pretty. Here's my tip: After skincare (including sunscreen) -> Before foundation, there's a powder primer. If you cover your whole face with that, then apply an extra layer on your T-zone, and then apply foundation, the staying power increases significantly!!! Highly recommended!! - ha**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 7, 2024
It's incredibly moisturizing with a beautiful glow, and the skin finish is truly outstanding. Even when it breaks down, it looks natural, which is great. The coverage is a bit weak, so it's a hassle having to apply a high-coverage foundation first and then layer this on top. However, the skin finish is so pretty that I'm willing to overlook this drawback and would consider repurchasing. - ra********Combination SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 19, 2024
It applies thinly, has a beautiful color, and offers excellent adherence and lasting power. The dewy finish is a bit subtle, but everything else is great. I'm a bit concerned about some potentially harmful ingredients. Also, it's quite expensive - I paid 88,000 won for it in Singapore, which is quite steep. I think applying a water-based moisturizer before this product would enhance the dewy glow. If you're shade 21, go for this color.
