As someone who's battled with milia acne my entire life, I can relate. My combination dehydrated skin was super sensitive, and those pesky bumps had spread to my chin and neck. But guess what? After using this product, about 70% of the redness has subsided, and those stubborn whiteheads have vanished. I'm only on day four of use, and I'm already seeing results with those hard-to-squeeze milia. Managing excess oil has always been a struggle, but this little miracle worker absorbs it like a champ. I'm honestly emotional about it - I've found hope! I'm looking forward to continuing use and finally achieving healthy skin. If you have skin like mine, I can't recommend this enough. I've never seen a product with such clear results. The application might not be the smoothest, but I'm willing to overlook it. Try using it the way I suggest, and please, please keep selling this zinc cream forever! The absorption isn't great, so you need to massage it into your skin for quite a while. That's a bit concerning for those of us with sensitive skin. Even after cleansing with a foam cleanser, you can still feel it on your skin - it leaves behind a slightly stiff sensation. But don't worry, there's a workaround for this. Despite the residue, it didn't cause any blemishes for me. Oh, and a heads up for those with dry skin - you might experience some flaking. I was shocked when my makeup started peeling off. Make sure to layer on plenty of hydrating skincare products beforehand. You know those Stridex pads, the ones in the green container? After cleansing, I use these to wipe my face. While it's not typically recommended, I gently rub in one direction to remove hardened sebum (this can be irritating, so be careful). This step helps remove any leftover zinc cream residue that survived the cleansing. The zinc cream has a somewhat water-resistant feel, making it tricky to remove impurities, but these pads are a perfect match. Once my skin is clean, I apply a serum, followed by a layer of PDRN cream (to prevent dryness), and then the zinc cream on top. I use about two finger-lengths worth, applying generously to fill in my pores. Adjust the amount based on your needs, but think of it as filling in the uneven areas of your skin. Apply until it becomes transparent. I have issues all over my face, so I apply it everywhere. Finally, I gently pat on a hydrating moisturizer. The zinc cream absorbs well, so you might need more moisturizer than usual. I'm definitely repurchasing this cream. I've tried countless "miracle" products for my milia acne without success, but after just four days of this routine, I can't believe the difference. It's incredible - I'm putting all my faith in this product now. - sa********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJul 2, 2025
I've been using this Sidmool product for about 6 years now, no joke! It's a staple on my vanity. While I don't have acne-prone skin, I sometimes apply it thickly on spots where blemishes pop up. When my pores seem a bit enlarged, I thoroughly cleanse and then use this as a sleeping pack. By morning, it feels like my pores have had a deep clean! The amount might look small, but since it has such a rich texture, one tube lasts surprisingly long. It's a bit challenging to apply at first, but after a while, it melts with your body heat and absorbs well. Plus, I've heard the zinc in it offers some sun protection too! You'll have to compromise on how easily it spreads. It requires some effort to apply evenly. After a while, it can feel a bit oily. There's a white cast, but I actually like that and use it as a makeup base. - ch*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 30, 2025
Trustworthy Ingredients (Hydration and Protection) Like many Sidmool products, you can trust the ingredients, which is great. With no concerning components and a focus on hydrating and protective elements, it's perfect for sensitive skin or when dealing with blemishes. Soothing Effect I bought this after hearing it was good for calming small bumps and inflammatory acne, but the results weren't as dramatic as I expected. However, I'm satisfied with how it soothes redness around my nose and other inflamed areas when applied before bed. It's especially useful during seasonal changes when my skin isn't at its best. Extremely Thick Texture The texture is quite unique - even thicker than ointment. It seems to get even more intense over time, almost like paint. Instead of trying to spread it, I just dab a small amount on problem areas and leave it as a white layer. I make sure to cleanse thoroughly the next morning. It's better to use this as a spot treatment rather than trying to absorb it fully. If the ingredients work for you, it could be really effective, but the texture is definitely the biggest hurdle. - yh*******Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 30, 2025
I bought this after seeing great results for acne scars on YouTube, and since I already love Sidmool products. While I'm not sure about the scars, I feel like my freckles and blemishes have become lighter, which is fantastic! Even when I used serums specifically for blemishes, they seemed to stay the same. But since using this, I feel like something has faded...? I also think my skin looks and feels softer and smoother. It's so thick that it doesn't absorb well or spread easily. I end up just patting it in to help it absorb. This product seems to work hard on evening out the complexion, especially for those with super sensitive skin prone to redness and blemishes. While it shows promise in fading dark spots and improving skin texture, the thick consistency might be challenging for some users. It may be best suited for those who don't mind taking extra time to work the product into their skin for optimal absorption. - hi******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 17, 2025
I bought this because it's supposed to be good for blemish-prone skin. I think I'll need to use it consistently to really see the results. The way it applies is really not great. I think I'll have to use it just for spot treatments. - zi*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2025
It's great for when your skin is irritated, dry, or breaking out due to dehydration. While it doesn't absorb that well, it's fine to apply before bed. For quick absorption, gently pat a small amount onto your skin. - dl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJun 13, 2025
I'm on my fifth tube of this product! I don't apply it all over, but when I have mosquito bites or itchy spots, I generously apply it and cover with a bandage. It really helps calm redness and soothe itching! It's become an essential item I can't do without. When I get folliculitis, I alternate between ointment during the day and a mix of zinc cream and powder at night for better results. My current routine is: • For folliculitis, mosquito bites, and itchy areas: zinc cream + Alive:Lab Centella Powder • For pustules and small blemishes: zinc cream + Numbuzin Powder Mixing cream and powder has been much more effective than using the cream alone. The consistency of zinc cream seems to vary between tubes, so it's a bit of a gamble each time. Pro tip: Instead of using zinc cream alone, try applying tea tree oil to mosquito bites or itchy areas first, then follow with a mixture of zinc cream and powder. This combination is much more effective for soothing irritated skin. - zx********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 12, 2025
It's great for calming blemishes when they flare up, so I'm using it regularly. The application feels a bit dry, so I have to apply it in small amounts, which is disappointing. - ha****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinJun 11, 2025
When I apply it before bed, my skin feels refreshed when I wake up. The slow absorption rate makes it a bit challenging to use. - pi*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 11, 2025
Suitable for calming early-stage blemishes A reliable staple in your skincare routine The volume is so large that I can't use it all within 6 months... I wish there was a half-size option available Never apply this all over your face Squeeze out a small amount and gently pat it into areas with blemishes or concerns for targeted absorption
