The scent isn't bad at all. I can't really detect the green tea fragrance, but it has a refreshing and invigorating smell that made it pleasant to use! While others praise the thick sheet, I feel the opposite. My face isn't particularly small, yet the mask sheet is enormous! It's so thick that it doesn't adhere well and easily falls off. There's also not enough essence, so it always feels dry. I don't have sensitive skin and can usually use anything without irritation, but when I gave one to my friend, she had to remove it immediately due to a burning sensation. I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. I had ten of these and used them consistently. I hope they're not the reason my skin has been acting up even without makeup. What's more, they haven't been in my possession long, but the manufacturing date is already over a year old. That's really disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 20, 2017
The price is quite affordable. I removed it right after applying, so I can't say much about its other qualities. I had to take it off immediately because it stung so much! I don't even have sensitive skin, but the areas around my cheeks and lips felt numb and had a burning sensation, which really surprised me. I bought it cheaply during a 10+10 sale, but I had to throw them all away. It might work differently for others, but I really can't use this at all. - le******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessNov 6, 2016
Masks are supposed to make your skin better, but this one didn't. Maybe it's because of the 10+10 deal? Or could it be contaminated from the factory? I bought it on a 10+10 deal, but it caused an itchy, tingling sensation. Never using it again. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 15, 2016
I have dry skin that's prone to acne, with at least one new mosquito bite-like pimple appearing daily. When I apply tea tree oil to the blemishes and then place this sheet mask over it, I notice the acne has calmed down a bit by the next morning. The disappointing aspect was that the sheet seemed to lack enough essence. Even after just 10 minutes, it felt like the mask was drying out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 11, 2016
I loved the cooling sensation, probably because I kept it in the fridge before using It stung a bit after application, which worried me, though I'm not sure why. Fortunately, I didn't experience any major skin reactions or adverse effects - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 24, 2016
As someone with acne-prone skin, I was pleased that nothing flared up after using it. It felt nicely hydrating during application. While it feels moisturizing when applied, my skin feels a bit tight after washing it off. It seems to lack a bit in terms of hydration... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinAug 2, 2016
The essence is thick and doesn't drip, as there isn't too much of it I applied this mask hoping to soothe my skin, but after reading these reviews where everyone says it's not great, I thought 'surely it won't happen to me' since I don't have particularly sensitive skin. I put it on without much thought, but after just five minutes, it started stinging so badly that I had to take it off. The area around my mouth felt numb, like when you get local anesthesia for mole removal. Even after washing my face again and applying toner and emulsion, my face still feels hot and tingly. This is by far the worst mask I've ever used. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 27, 2016
I bought this during the 10+10 event the other day. The packaging is pretty, but... I put it in the fridge, then applied it after washing my face in the evening. I removed it after about 10 minutes and finished with my usual cream. However, even after using the mask, my skin didn't feel hydrated. Instead, my cheeks started burning and felt tight. I didn't think much of it at first, but as time passed, my face became noticeably red. The redness wouldn't subside, and my skin felt tight and slightly swollen. When I looked in the mirror, I noticed hive-like bumps on my neck too - I had applied the leftover essence there as well. Even after washing my face and applying a cold compress, the symptoms didn't improve. A day later, my cheeks and chin are still itchy and red. I've developed some spots, and my neck is also red - it's driving me crazy! If it doesn't get better tomorrow, I'm planning to visit a dermatologist. I'm shocked, as I didn't think my skin was this sensitive. This is the first time I've had such a reaction to a sheet mask. I used to be able to use any mask without issues. Clearly, something in this doesn't agree with me. From now on, I'll definitely check the ingredients before buying. It seems I'm not the only one with this experience. The Skinfood mask is a real disappointment for me. - sn*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 21, 2016
• This mask provides a cool, fresh, and clean hydration. It's a type that lightly fulfills only moisture needs! Therefore, it's fine for those with oily skin, but those with dry skin might feel it's rather drying after use. Even for me with dehydrated skin, I sometimes feel a slight dryness after using it. • It's perfect to use as a soothing treatment when your face feels hot or flushed! • The sheet mask is neither too thin nor too thick, so it adheres well to the skin and feels great! • Those with dry skin will definitely find it drying! I recommend this for people who tend to have a lot of heat in their face!! • The scent is unpleasant. It's not the typical green tea or tea bag scent you might expect. It's more like the intense grassy smell you'd get as a child when you crushed various plants while playing outside. • I mainly use this mask to calm my skin after using a nose pack or doing a peeling treatment. It's perfect for soothing! • Putting it in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes before use really helps to cool down the face and has a great calming effect! • In terms of hydration effectiveness among Skinfood's mask line, I'd rank them (subjectively) as follows: Blueberry = Green Tea < Broccoli = Orange < Lentil - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 9, 2016
A decent essence for the price? Well, aside from the tingling sensation, it's just your average 500 won sheet mask! I quickly bought this 5+5 pack for my Laos trip. Used it there to cool off, but oddly, only the green tea one made the area around my mouth tingle. At first, I thought my skin was just sensitive from the Laos heat. But even trying it the next day, and the day after that with AC blasting, the tingling persisted. There was some redness too, though no acne-like bumps. I kept using it for a few days, but always the same reaction. This is a first for me with a mask! The other varieties were just average, but something about the green tea one... There was another type that made my skin tingle too, but I can't remember which.
