The cleansing effectiveness was great! It thoroughly removed face makeup, eyeshadow, and blush. As for mascara, removal varied depending on the brand. Heroine Make mascara was a bit more stubborn to remove. Be careful not to get it in your eyes as it can be quite painful. Since I have dry skin, I felt a slight deep dryness after using this product.

I was worried a strong scent would be unusable, but this gentle aroma was perfect. The creamy texture felt gentle on my skin, causing minimal irritation. It also produced a good amount of lather. The cleansing effectiveness is quite disappointing. While it somewhat removes face makeup, though not satisfactorily, it struggles with eye makeup. It failed to remove filled-in eyeliner on the lashes and eyeshadow in the contoured areas, which was frustrating. The dryness it causes is no joke either. I usually cleanse thoroughly (never exceeding 1 minute), so experiences may vary, but post-cleanse, my skin felt so tight I could barely open my mouth. It left my skin stiff with absolutely no hydration. Currently, I'm using a prescription acne medication that requires applying skincare 15 minutes after use. As a result, my skin barrier is compromised, causing significant dead skin cells to appear. It's unfortunate that it contains pore-clogging ingredients, especially for acne-prone skin like mine. It feels gentle and mild. I think it would be great for those with blemishes! It feels like the cleansing power is a bit weak. If you lather it up, it might cause a tingling sensation in your eyes. It helps cleanse deep into the skin, which is great. However, I noticed on Hwahae that it contains some not-so-good ingredients. I've been getting acne, so I looked into why. Turns out there are ingredients that clog pores.

To be honest, there's no compelling reason to recommend this product. I only used it because it was given to me for free. I alternated it with my Sen*** foam cleanser, and it was okay that way. It feels incredibly gentle and mild. Even those with sensitive skin might want to give this a try! While the sebum control could be a bit better, everything else about it is great. It felt nice because it was gentle and mild on the skin. It's not bad, but I can't say it's exceptionally good either. Just average. Compared to other foam cleansers, I felt my skin drying out more quickly after use.
