It felt moisturizing and pleasant when I applied it to my skin It absorbs quickly, but I don't feel like it provides direct nourishment - sm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticitySep 12, 2023
I bought this because the azulene ingredient works well for me, and it seemed to help calm redness. The texture is like a soft pudding, and I felt a cooling effect when applying. As I rolled it on, the texture became more elastic, and I loved how it absorbed completely with almost no residue. It felt a bit lacking in hydration and nourishment. Also, when I tried to spread it, it pilled like powder, making it difficult to use before makeup. - gl*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2023
It calms and cools my sensitive skin with redness It seems to lack hydration. Even after using a serum and applying this cream, it doesn't feel extremely moisturizing Apply the cream after using a serum - cy*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 7, 2021
I have dry skin with slight redness due to dilated capillaries. I bought this hoping it would help soothe my skin and strengthen the skin barrier. First off, it's fragrance-free, and it has good absorption - it seems to sink in quickly. It feels more hydrating than oily. However, after a while, you can definitely feel some deep dryness, so it's best to mix it with a richer cream or oil on top. There were three pore-clogging ingredients, but I didn't experience any blemishes. When I used it in winter, it had a cooling effect and felt soothing, but in summer... it doesn't seem to have much effect. As a workaround, I'm keeping it in the fridge. I'm currently mixing it with a drop of German chamomile, sometimes sea buckthorn, or tocopherol when applying, as it might need that extra layer of richness. When your face feels hot, try mixing it with refrigerated aloe gel for a cooling effect. Apply it generously for best results. - ap*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessJun 25, 2021
The texture is perfect for summer use. It's incredibly lightweight. The blue color from the azulene ingredient is fascinating. It's too drying. The absorption is poor, so if you apply too much, it pills. I bought it because I heard azulene was good, but I was disappointed. I probably won't repurchase it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 31, 2021
The cooling effect is amazing! You can feel it refreshing your skin as soon as you apply it! I tried this because it was highly recommended on YouTube, but it was too harsh for my skin and caused a tingling sensation. Instead of calming my skin, it actually irritated it, making my face red and breaking out! After reading other reviews, I have to agree about the dryness. No exaggeration, after using this overnight, I woke up with my facial skin feeling extremely tight. The tightness was so severe, it was truly uncomfortable! My makeup pilled and looked even more noticeable. Unfortunately, I could only use it a few times before having to stop. - sn**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2021
A lightweight and easy-to-use product, I'm currently on my second bottle While it has a very rich texture, contrary to the review above, it makes my hair stick to my face after application... Not sure if it's due to moisture or oil, but it leaves a greasy shine... I'm only using it because I can't be bothered to switch products - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2021
The cream was really rich and not sticky at all. When I had a small blemish appear on my face, it quickly subsided. There's nothing I dislike about it, but honestly, I was surprised by the color at first, haha! - 83*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 20, 2021
I stumbled upon this product by chance, and it turned out to be quite nice! I've been using azulene oil for soothing my skin, and lately, I've noticed many products containing azulene hitting the market. It seems to have an excellent calming effect. When I first applied it, I felt a cooling sensation that made my skin feel even more soothed. On days when my skin was particularly irritated or after wearing makeup for long hours, I made sure to layer it generously with a hydrating moisturizer. Many reviews mentioned it being drying, but since I typically layer two or three creams, I didn't experience significant dryness even when I finished with just this product and a regenerating cream. (I always use a hydrating moisturizer as my final step normally.) Despite reviews saying it doesn't absorb well, I didn't find any issues with absorption! After using toner and essence, I applied this cream followed by a moisturizer, and there was no pilling at all. I was pretty satisfied using it until I finished the whole jar. I would consider repurchasing! Given the nature of the container, I was a bit concerned about hygiene. Even though I carefully cleaned the spatula, having to open and close the jar made me use it up quickly after opening. For those who find it drying, try adding an extra layer of hydrating moisturizer as a final step. Your makeup will apply beautifully the next day! - sy*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 11, 2020
I discovered this cream through a YouTuber and I'm really satisfied with how lightweight it is while still absorbing well. It felt just right when I used it in early summer or early fall - not heavy or drying at all. The blue color even gave me a psychological sense of calm. The glass container makes it a bit heavy, and the jar format raised some hygiene concerns. If you apply too much, it tends to pill, so I only used it in the evenings. Also, if the timing wasn't right, it could feel a bit dry or oily. I'd recommend this more as a night cream!
