I've been using this for 10 years now. I've tried many matte BB creams, but most of them looked chalky and didn't absorb well. Clean Face, however, absorbs beautifully and has the perfect tone. The coverage is just right too. It's truly the ultimate for a natural, 'no-makeup' look. Even though it's been discontinued here, I'm still buying it from overseas. The scent is absolutely delightful. I actually bought this about 4-5 years ago when I was a beauty novice, purely because I loved the fragrance! This product completely wrecked my skin. It wasn't an immediate reaction - at first, I just had occasional blemishes popping up here and there. But after a few months of use, my skin suddenly took a drastic turn for the worse. Around that time, I read in a book (this was before I discovered the Hwahae app, unfortunately) that parabens can be harmful. When I checked this BB cream, I noticed it contained parabens, so I stopped using it immediately. Thankfully, my skin didn't deteriorate further after that. That skin reaction was a real nightmare, and it took so much effort to nurse my skin back to health. My skin is super super sensitive, and even when I use sunscreens that don't suit me, I get small blemishes. But with this one, I don't get any blemishes, and it seems less irritating, so I keep using it! I think the coverage is pretty decent too. And when it fades, it fades really nicely! Oh! Also, when I try to apply other BB creams or foundations after this, it's really hard to apply them. This one applies smoothly, almost like an emulsion! It doesn't make you look as pale as foundations or cushions do. It's a bit grayish, and there's some darkening too. Still, I haven't found anything better for me yet, so I keep using it! I wish the staying power was better and the tone was a bit brighter. Oh! And it transfers easily, especially when changing clothes! Oh no, this product has been discontinued! Does anyone happen to have this product? I'd like to buy it, even if it's used!

At first, it feels like it's doing a great job. But that's just a feeling, you know? It applies well initially, but oh boy, does it break down at an alarmingly fast rate. The staying power is absolutely terrible, it's the worst. It crumbles away like nobody's business. And when it breaks down, it does so more intensely than any other BB cream, leaving patchy, uneven marks all over. Even if you use a good concealer and manage to get satisfactory coverage, this product has such a voracious appetite that it gobbles up the concealer in record time too, leaving nothing behind. My skin was actually good and firm before, but then these little bumps started appearing. At first, I thought it was due to my skincare routine, so I made it more robust and even switched to products with the gentlest, highest-quality ingredients. But the bumps kept appearing around my cheeks and above my upper lip. My skin became so unpredictable that I finally stopped using this BB cream and focused on intensive skincare. When I was looking for other makeup products and happened to see this BB cream again, I checked the ingredients. Wow, it's like a chaotic party of problematic components! Looking back on my skincare journey, I really think this BB cream was the culprit. The absolute best advice is not to buy this product at all. It absorbs well and while the coverage isn't extraordinary, it does a good job of concealing minor imperfections that bother me. The darkening effect is way too intense. It's great for everyday use, has good adherence, and doesn't look too cakey. I used it daily. It has a matte finish, so in winter you need to add extra moisture to make it look hydrated. For summer, it feels a bit heavy. I recommend mixing it slightly with another product.

I have combination skin with a few blemishes, and the coverage is quite good. Before applying, I noticed the cream had a grayish tint, which seemed odd at first, but once applied, I couldn't see any gray at all. Since my complexion isn't particularly fair, I think it suited me well. Since this product has been discontinued, its availability varies between The Face Shop stores. For in-person shopping, it's best to check online which stores still carry it. Also, those with very fair, Snow White-like skin should be cautious as they might regret purchasing. It's advisable to test it in-store before buying. This product comes in a squeeze tube, but occasionally when there's air inside, it can suddenly squirt out and stain your sleeve. To avoid this, I pre-dispense some into a small container like a contact lens case. When applied, it naturally adapts to your complexion, giving you that perfect 'egg skin' look. I'm absolutely thrilled with it! While it looks natural, it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't offer a lighter shade option.
