It's great for a light cleanse. Excellent value for money. A good product to stock up on when it's on sale. It's been discontinued now and replaced with the new Aloe and Green Tea version. Looks like I'll have to switch to that one!

The cleansing effectiveness seems pretty good. I think it's not a bad choice for those who don't have any real skin issues. It leaves the skin feeling a bit too squeaky clean and slightly tight. I've been using this for years without any issues, but I had to pause briefly due to my skin becoming sensitive. During the years of use, I didn't experience any problems, just a slight tightness which I didn't mind. I've always used the aloe cleansing foam, and I love that I can use it for a long time. The tube format makes it easy to use. Absolutely not recommended for suddenly sensitive skin! This summer, after being in the sun for a long time, I developed hives with heat rash. When I applied this, my skin turned red and felt a burning sensation. If you have sensitive skin or blemishes, avoid using it for a while. It's like poison for sensitive skin. Cleansing effectiveness: I didn't expect much given the price, but when I went out wearing just lip products and cleansed with this alone, it removed all the lip makeup. It also cleanses oils well. Texture: It has more moisture than regular foam cleansers, but it doesn't lather up easily. Recommended skin type: I have normal skin, and while I don't feel tightness immediately after washing, my skin becomes dry shortly after. It might be too drying for those with dry skin. After use: I usually get blemishes when switching products, but I've been using this for a long time without any issues. Unlike some products that caused irritation or blemishes after about 5 days of use, this one didn't cause any such problems. The ingredients aren't the best, and it's not unscented, which some people might dislike. Strangely, when the bottle is about half empty, the cap doesn't close tightly. This has happened consistently across several bottles I've used. The biggest advantage is the generous amount - you can use it liberally without worry! The affordable price is a great bonus too. After washing, my skin feels squeaky clean - almost too much so.
