The scent is lovely, so I tried sampling all the fragrances. Among them, the rose scent is the most sophisticated and calming. It focuses more on fragrance than hydration. Those with sensitive or dry skin should avoid this product. While the product offers a delightful array of scents, particularly the elegant rose fragrance, it may not provide sufficient moisture for those with dry or sensitive skin. The emphasis seems to be on the aromatic experience rather than deep hydration. If you're looking for a product that prioritizes scent over skincare benefits, this might be suitable. However, if your skin requires intense moisture or is prone to irritation, you may want to consider alternatives that offer better hydration and are gentler on sensitive skin. - go*******Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2025
The absolute best thing about this product is the fragrance. To be honest, there aren't many other standout features. The scent is truly on another level. I never used to like rose scents, but this one changed my mind. When I mentioned how much I loved it, a store employee explained that Diptyque's rose fragrance focuses more on the roots of the rose plant rather than the flower itself. That's why it has a less traditionally feminine floral scent. I find it perfect for the cooler months when you want something that's not too nude but not too heavy. Every time I use this hand cream, friends or people around me always ask what it is and want to buy it for themselves. It's definitely a product that makes others envious! If we're being brutally honest, apart from the scent, there aren't many advantages. It doesn't have exceptional moisturizing power or an amazingly smooth application. It's not made with particularly outstanding ingredients either. Without the fragrance, there's not much reason to specifically choose Diptyque. I use their body cream too, and I'm always a bit disappointed by its hydrating ability. In all honesty, this product alone isn't enough for people who work in cafes or have very dry hands. That's why I often use it more like a perfume when meeting friends, rather than as a primary hand cream. If you think of it as a perfumed hand cream rather than just a hand cream, you might feel like you're getting a great scent at a good price. - cr********Combination SkinFeb 13, 2025
The lid opens and closes smoothly, and its design is attractive. The moisturizer absorbs well and provides good hydration. For a product that markets itself based on fragrance, the scent is overwhelmingly strong. Moreover, it's not a scent I prefer, which makes me hesitant to use it. - le*****Normal SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedAug 23, 2023
It has a subtle French cosmetic scent, reminiscent of roses. True to its name, it combines a rosy fragrance with a slightly crisp, airy note. The cream absorbs well and spreads easily. The finish isn't too oily, leaving your skin feeling soft and velvety. In my opinion, 20,000 won for a 50ml hand cream seems a bit pricey. - db********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 23, 2023
Woody + Rose scent Despite its name, it has a surprisingly cozy and warm fragrance The lingering scent is reminiscent of sweet floral notes I love how it absorbs well without feeling greasy Even right after applying, it's less slippery than other hand creams when you wash your hands Personally, I appreciate that the scent is subtle and not overpowering Personally, I found the lingering scent a bit cloying It's not a particularly hydrating hand cream The fragrance isn't very strong either... It seems to be in an awkward position, neither excelling as a hand cream nor as a perfume alternative
