As someone who absolutely adores nude lips and owns many shades in this category, I was a bit apprehensive about trying Tom Ford lipstick after my previous disappointment with Sable Smoke. However, I decided to take the plunge and purchased one at duty-free. I'm thrilled to say I'm completely satisfied with the result! While it might be a bit more nude than what most Korean women typically go for, I absolutely love it. The application is top-notch - it absorbs beautifully on the lips. I think it would be better if it were fragrance-free. That being said, I'm tempted to collect other shades as well. Overall, I'm quite pleased with it. - el*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinApr 24, 2019
- It's not drying. The moderate richness keeps your lips moisturized for about 2-3 hours, give or take! - If you have tanned skin and are looking for a not-too-overwhelming nude tone lipstick, definitely give this a swatch! (Make sure to try it on yourself though!) - Although it's a moisturizing type, it completely accentuates dead skin cells and wrinkles. - Even though my lips are naturally quite red, when I wear this alone, it's really... not pretty at all. It makes my complexion look dull. I wanted to use it for an MLBB (My Lips But Better) effect, but it was a total fail. When I tested it at the Galleria store, I tried on so many products that the colors got mixed, so I failed to catch the exact color payoff... - The scent is also like that old-fashioned lipstick smell, reminiscent of our mothers' vintage rouge. - It might pair well with tanned makeup or an intense smokey eye look. - Personally, I wouldn't recommend this color at this price point. Tom Ford's coral line is the prettiest. That's a pro tip for you! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 20, 2017
If you're new to nude lipsticks or a fan of nude shades, I highly recommend this for everyday wear. It doesn't make your skin look ashy, which is great. The color selection is fantastic and really impressed me. It's not as matte as I expected, so if you're looking for a truly matte finish, you might be better off with MAC's matte line. Surprisingly, it breaks easily, which was a shock. Personally, the main drawback is the price - it is Tom Ford after all. If you're keen on trying Tom Ford, buying from duty-free shops might be more cost-effective. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 14, 2016
I love wearing nude lipsticks, and this product gives the most radiant look. It's not overly matte among lipsticks, so I think it can be used comfortably for everyday wear. Nude lips generally require some exfoliation and plumping effect, so relying on lipstick alone might be a bit challenging. It looks really beautiful when paired with one of Tom Ford's nude lip glosses.
