The cleansing power is excellent, and it lathers up nicely, making it easy and convenient to use. There's hardly any scent, but that's not really an issue, so I'll let it slide. This cleanser seems to have a good balance of effectiveness and gentleness. I originally used a different product consistently, but decided to switch to this one temporarily when it went on sale. I'm quite satisfied with the change. I'm not sure what combination of ingredients is responsible, but after using it, my face feels incredibly soft and smooth. As someone with dry skin, I really appreciate that it leaves my skin feeling less parched after cleansing. Don't be mistaken though - this doesn't mean its cleansing effectiveness is weak. Not at all! It has exceeded my expectations, so I definitely plan to purchase it again in the future. There are no downsides. I've been using it for over a month now without any issues. My oily-skinned sister occasionally uses it when she visits, and even she hasn't experienced any blemishes. This low-pH cleansing foam does an excellent job of removing impurities! The one and only drawback is the flimsy packaging lid.
