It was quite visible on my skin, though it does improve somewhat over time. If you're not planning to wear makeup over it, I'd suggest looking for a different product. Works great as a substitute for foundation or BB cream. It definitely brightens and evens out the skin tone. I'll need to use it a bit longer to be sure, but after a week of using it instead of foundation, my skin feels a bit more sensitive. This brightening moisturizer seems to be effective at evening out the complexion, making it a good alternative to heavier makeup. The application, finish, redness coverage, and brightening effects are impressive. It glides on smoothly with a hydrating feel, settling just before it reaches a semi-matte finish. While my redness isn't usually severe, it can flare up with temperature changes and be slow to calm down. With this product, there's still a slight flush, but it's not unsightly. My complexion tends to have grayish undertones, and while the purple tint provides significant brightening, it doesn't necessarily give a healthy look. However, the green tint, with its slight yellow undertone, prevents an overly pale appearance, which I actually prefer. In the photo, I had to apply it quite thickly for the effect to show, as a single layer wasn't noticeable. When applied to the face in thin layers, it didn't settle into fine lines and did a good job of minimizing the appearance of pores. I haven't found any significant drawbacks yet, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say they could potentially improve the formula with even more skin-friendly ingredients.
