Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin with deep dryness, redness, sensitivity, and seasonal blemishes Overall impression: Light but long-lasting, subtle hydration that isn't overly rich While I generally prefer Uriage's Iséac line, their Eau Thermale serum seems to suit me better. It has a water-emulsion texture that becomes even lighter when applied, feeling moisturizing and absorbing well. It addresses deep dryness, and even if I forget to apply anything else, it takes quite a while before I feel any dryness. When I accidentally skip my evening skincare routine, I usually wake up with an oily face, but this product passes the test. The price is wickedly high... It runs out quickly, and I'm constantly spending about $30 on it. Once I finish this bottle, I plan to try their Cica serum. It can sting a bit after laser treatments or on days with high sun exposure. Those with super sensitive skin might want to pass. As many have already mentioned, there is some pilling. When your skin seems resistant to absorbing products and everything just sits on top, leaving you feeling dry, this serum can be pushed in like an IV drip. It absorbs exceptionally well, making it great to use occasionally in such situations, even if not as part of your daily routine. - gk*****Dry SkinSep 15, 2022
There's not much to praise, unfortunately. If I had to pick something, I guess it would be the fragrance? I completely regret buying this product. Whenever I use it alone, it causes painful blemishes to appear. - no*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 20, 2021
When I first applied it, I thought 'Wow! It's so lightweight yet moisturizing.' It's perfect for a light application during summer. The fragrance is quite strong, perhaps due to a high concentration of perfume. There might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with me... When my skin is sensitive, it stings upon application. While it's great for light application in summer, it can be drying in winter. Applying it after toner helps even out the skin texture. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 6, 2021
Initially, I was very satisfied with how moisturizing it felt when applied. The scent wasn't overpowering either. When I use this product alone, it causes blemishes to appear. I don't usually get blemishes, so when they started showing up, I tried to find the cause. I stopped using it for a while, and the blemishes disappeared. - pi*********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2021
As someone with super sensitive skin, I was searching for a non-sticky essence and happened to buy this at Olive Young. It's refreshing and non-irritating! The absorption is great, allowing you to cover a wide area with just a small amount. It's a bit on the lighter side! Rather than providing an intense hydration boost, it feels more like lightly misting a dry plant with a weak spray bottle. - tj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 18, 2021
Hydration: While it's not extremely moisturizing, it's just right for my combination dehydrated skin! Absorbs: It absorbs incredibly well! Absorbs well: After patting it in a few times, it quickly sinks into the skin, which is great. Non-irritating: I have sensitive skin, but I didn't feel any particular irritation. I haven't tried using it before makeup because some reviews mentioned pilling when applied under makeup. Personally, I found the fragrance too artificial and didn't like it. I feel like I've smelled it somewhere before, but I can't quite remember where. Overall, it seems like a decent product without any major drawbacks. - ch********Oily SkinAcne SkinNov 18, 2020
There's not much to say, except maybe that the packaging is pretty...? This product keeps pilling like dead skin when I apply it. I thought maybe it was because of my toner, so I tried changing that and even applying this as the first step in my routine, but it still keeps pilling. It's really frustrating. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2020
It absorbs so well, leaving your skin feeling incredibly hydrated right after cleansing. Just a single squeeze is enough to moisturize your entire face. It seems to work great in any season. It's gentle and non-irritating. Being a serum, it might not be the best choice for those with dry skin during the harsh winter months. Other formulations could be more suitable in that case. However, I found it sufficient for my needs. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2020
This serum is suitable for all skin types and easy to use. When applied right after cleansing and misting, it definitely leaves your skin feeling hydrated. The price compared to the amount? I didn't realize it when I bought it on sale, but it's more expensive than I thought... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 10, 2020
I'm on my second bottle now and I really love applying it. It's packed with hydration and leaves my skin feeling so moisturized. What's great is that it's not heavy at all - it's wonderfully lightweight. If you prefer lighter textures, you'll probably adore this. The only downside is that when I apply it in the morning, my makeup tends to pill. So I've resorted to using it only at night before bed. It seems to create a film on the skin, and no matter how much I pat it in, my foundation still ends up pilling over it.
