As a student, laser hair removal is too expensive for me, so I occasionally use this to remove hair and it's really great! It doesn't work very well on fine hairs like those on fingers. They're hard to remove. Also, I wasn't a fan of the scent. - ki*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 17, 2022
For self-waxing, I don't think there's anything better than this. Hard wax is generally best for waxing, and this one even has a pretty color. Among the many waxes I've stockpiled, this is the one I reach for most often. Of all the products I've tried, I think this one removes hair the most cleanly and effectively. I'm not sure if it's just me, but while it works great on thicker hair areas like armpits, it seems less effective on areas with finer hair like arms and legs. - ta**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRednessFeb 25, 2022
My skin type is combination with blemishes and whiteheads in the T-zone due to hormonal changes, redness on the cheeks, and super sensitive skin! 1. I'll give credit where it's due - it does remove hair effectively. Back-to-school hair removal game on point! 2. The delivery was quick. There are so many issues... 1. Irritation: After using this for forehead waxing, the redness didn't subside for over 5 hours, and the bumpy texture lasted all day. 2. Blemishes: I deliberately used it on an area that rarely breaks out, but the very next day, pimples appeared exactly where I applied it. This area had been clear for over a month! 3. Hair breakage: Often, instead of removing the hair, it just breaks it off short. Pro tip for those with sensitive skin: steer clear of this product. Don't buy it! - gy*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 11, 2021
The thicker the hair roots, the better they get pulled out, proportional to the pain. I have a lot of hair overall, but the hair on my arms is thin, so it didn't get removed evenly. Legs were effective but required some technique when pulling off, while underarms were the cleanest and easiest to remove even with quick pulls. Brazilian waxing works well too, but the pain intensifies as you go lower. For Brazilian, I recommend going to a professional salon, especially if you have experience with waxing ≒ or if you have sparse or short hair. No matter what you do, thin or short hairs just won't come out. Applying the wax meticulously doesn't make a difference. Apply more wax for thicker hair. Short hairs can be removed with just a little wax, but thick and long hairs need to be covered well for painless and effective removal. Waxing is less painful and more effective when hair is shorter. For Brazilian waxing, trimming the hair beforehand makes it less painful and more effective. It's crucial to work in small sections! Don't try to do too much at once, or you'll feel like you've been to hell and back. Quickly pull off small sections at a time. You don't need a lot of wax if you apply it correctly. When starting out, try removing just a few hairs to get the hang of it. Once you've got the technique down, it becomes easier! Note: If you're new to Brazilian waxing, I strongly recommend getting it done at a salon. Especially for those with thick hair roots, the pain level is on another level, making it too challenging to do alone. - jk*******Oily SkinRecommendedJul 27, 2020
I bought this for Brazilian waxing and it's great! It removes hair cleanly in one go. However, it doesn't work as well on fine hairs. I think soft wax might be better for those thinner strands. I initially tried the 201 with a warmer as a set and liked it so much that I repurchased the larger size. But I'd recommend starting with the smaller size to test it out before committing to the bigger one!
