This shampoo seems like it would be fantastic for those with very oily scalps. I have an oily scalp myself, but it's not too severe. After trying this product, it felt like an ultra-powerful oil eraser! Of all the oily scalp and anti-hair loss shampoos I've tried, this one leaves my hair feeling the most squeaky clean. It's cooling, thoroughly removes scalp oils, and gives a deep cleansing sensation. It's incredibly potent! The scent is subtle and pleasant, not off-putting at all. It effectively removes dead skin cells and excess oil from the scalp, giving a sensation of deep cleansing. The cooling effect is refreshing, and it definitely tackles oiliness head-on. However, I wouldn't recommend this for those with long hair, especially if it's damaged. The intense cleansing action might make it difficult to brush your hair without using a conditioner or treatment afterward. It seems to strip away not just the excess oil from the scalp, but also the necessary oils from the hair strands. After using this, my hair felt quite dry and straw-like. Even with conditioner or treatment, I couldn't achieve that silky, flowing finish I get with other shampoos. It's not ideal for those with long hair and damaged locks. The shampoo's strong oil-removing properties can leave your hair feeling parched and brittle. Also, the price point seems a bit steep. If you have an extremely oily scalp and short hair, this could be a game-changer for you. However, those with longer hair or dry ends might want to proceed with caution. Consider using it in combination with a deeply nourishing conditioner to maintain your hair's moisture balance. - hu**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 18, 2024
As someone with seborrheic dermatitis, this felt incredibly refreshing on my scalp. It's just as effective as medicated shampoos from the pharmacy! Nothing particularly bad to mention, but it's not widely available in stores nearby. I had to purchase it online. - sm****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 8, 2024
My hair feels amazing just from shampooing. I love how soft it makes my locks. The fragrance is absolutely delightful too! The price tag is quite steep. While I received this as a gift, I doubt I could justify purchasing it for myself. - hu******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityAug 5, 2023
●The scent isn't particularly pleasant, but it has a somewhat cool, refreshing aroma. ●While it does lather, you'll need to use a generous amount to get a rich foam for long hair. ●There's a noticeable cooling effect during use, but it doesn't leave your hair feeling particularly smooth when rinsing. I can't tell if it's effective for preventing hair loss yet, and I haven't noticed any improvement in my hair texture. - le*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 14, 2022
✓ I have an oily scalp prone to seborrheic dermatitis, and my hair tends to get greasy by lunchtime ✓ First off, the formula is extremely lightweight ✓ While some people mentioned it doesn't lather well, I found it produced a decent amount of foam ✓ Being a scalp shampoo, it leaves a refreshed feeling after use. It's not just the cooling sensation from menthol, but a genuine feeling of a thoroughly cleansed scalp ✓ After using this shampoo, I noticed a significant reduction in how greasy my hair gets ✓ As a result, I feel like I'm experiencing less hair loss ✓ The consistency is so thin that I end up using a lot each time. I go through the bottle quickly, unfortunately - ha******Dry SkinRecommendedOct 18, 2022
I have a dry scalp that typically develops dandruff and itchiness a day after shampooing. I've been trying various scalp shampoos, from high-end imported anti-hair loss formulas to gentle baby shampoos, in search of the perfect product for me. I discovered Vitabrid shampoo through a friend's recommendation and bought it on sale. Unlike other scalp shampoos, this one doesn't have that intense cooling effect. It's a fairly unremarkable product, with no notable features post-wash. By the second day, some oiliness appears, and the dandruff and itching neither worsen nor improve significantly - it's right in the middle. There's no particular scent, and it doesn't leave my hair feeling too stiff after washing. While most scalp shampoos are expensive, this one offers good value for money when bought at its lowest price. Compared to other products, it leaves my hair feeling clean and healthy without any artificial additives. It's definitely not a product that produces rich lather. Moreover, since I have long hair, I end up using more of this product compared to others. The consistency is thin, and it's not in a pump bottle, so it's easy to accidentally squeeze out too much if you're not careful. Make sure to massage the shampoo thoroughly into your scalp. Once you've worked up a decent lather, gather the foam and distribute it through your hair. If you try to create lather directly on your hair, it won't foam up well, and you'll end up using more shampoo to clean your scalp, doubling the amount used. Sadly, this can be quite wasteful. - jo******Normal SkinSensitive SkinApr 3, 2022
The consistency of the product is just right - it comes out of the bottle easily but doesn't drip from your hands or hair. It produces a moderate amount of lather, and even before applying conditioner, your hair doesn't feel excessively stiff after rinsing. Plus, it doesn't cause any scalp itchiness. There's a subtle, somewhat medicinal scent that's not quite pleasant. Checking the ingredient list, I see 'fragrance' is included. I wish they'd either left it unscented or chosen a more refreshing aroma if they were going to add fragrance. The scent just isn't to my liking. Also, I've been using it for about two weeks now, and I'm not sure about its effectiveness in preventing hair loss. I suppose it might take a month of use to really tell? This isn't exactly a tip, but I think it would have been better as a leave-in conditioner to truly deliver on the claimed 12-hour effect of Vitamin C. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2022
I started using this after a YouTube recommendation, and it's really refreshing and nice! It's great for hair loss prevention and definitely keeps dandruff at bay. Unfortunately, I had to switch to a different product during pregnancy due to safety concerns, which was disappointing. The old instructions were to shampoo twice, but now they suggest shampooing once and waiting. Personally, I still prefer shampooing twice as it creates more lather and leaves my scalp feeling cleaner. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 24, 2021
I love the cool sensation it provides. The scent is also quite pleasant - not too light, yet refreshingly crisp, which I really appreciate. It seems to lack conditioning ingredients. While shampooing, it's not as noticeable, but after rinsing, my hair feels a bit stiff. Also, the price point isn't exactly budget-friendly in my opinion. - dk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2021
Great for hair improvement. The price is reasonable, and you can feel the organic-inorganic hybrid delivery system working on your scalp. I'm not sure yet. I think I'll need to use it for a bit longer to really tell.
