I bought this through YouTuber S's market. It works well for touch-ups. The hydration is lacking... It dries quickly and leaves my skin feeling parched. The ingredients are also just mediocre. - dm*********Combination SkinAcne SkinMar 19, 2023
When applied to areas with flaky dead skin cells, it gently firms up the skin, reducing the appearance of flakiness. It's also great for touch-ups. After gently wiping with a pad and letting it dry, applying this stick and then immediately layering on cushion foundation works perfectly. The cooling effect isn't as intense as expected. It's only slightly cool at best. Also, it's not sufficient as a replacement for cream. Apart from its convenient portability, I don't see many significant advantages. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 21, 2023
This review is based on using the full-size serum I received as a gratis item after purchasing the serum. I got this product as a gift with purchase from an influencer's Wellage market, but honestly... I'm not sure what it's good for. I've been trying it everywhere, but well... Here's the sad tale of not finding any benefits anywhere. Let me list the places I've tried it: 1. Touch-ups for hydration After using blotting paper for touch-ups, I tried smoothing this on, but it pilled. Fail. 2. Hydration when skin feels dry I just applied it quickly, and while it felt cool going on, if you ask me if it actually hydrated... Well...? Fail. 3. Neck hydration I was concerned about neck wrinkles, so I thought I'd try hydrating there, but you're better off just using an emulsion... haha. Fail. So basically, it had no effect whatsoever. But since it didn't do anything particularly bad either, I'm giving it 2 points. I wouldn't recommend buying it, even if you get it as a freebie. That's all. This frog was in the middle of drinking water. - oy*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 22, 2022
I bought this after hearing a YouTuber say it feels cool when applied. I was excited, but when I put it on, I didn't feel any cooling sensation at all. The only positive is that it seems to reduce pilling when applied before makeup. They claimed it would feel cool and have a soothing effect when applied, but I'm not convinced. - ni********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 3, 2022
It's nice that it doesn't attract dust at night when everything else does. That's definitely a plus. I trusted YouTuber S's recommendation and bought this despite the high price, but now I understand why it causes redness when applied. They advertised it as a hydrating stick that would boost moisture, but it contains salicylic acid... I only applied it lightly to the driest, most delicate areas of my skin, and now I get why it became red and irritating. Not to mention the other questionable ingredients... Sigh. I can't notice any cooling effect or wrinkle improvement. I'll just use what's left on my neck. There's really nothing more to say. It's just overpriced... - an*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2022
After applying, my skin feels firm and plump. It's definitely great to use before makeup. It claims to have a cooling effect, but I didn't feel any cooling sensation at all. - an********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 17, 2022
The most convenient aspect is how easily it glides on without leaving any residue on your hands. I also appreciated that it doesn't leave any rich feeling on the skin after application. It's best not to expect the intense hydration or cooling effect you might have seen in YouTube videos. The sensation is much more subtle than that. - um********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 7, 2022
It's great that it's portable and can be applied without getting your hands messy. In YouTube videos, they talk about it having an amazing cooling effect, but I didn't feel any cooling at all... (Maybe it varies depending on skin type?) Also, it seems to disagree with my super sensitive and extremely oily skin. Just now, I applied toner and then this water balm, and my skin turned red. I trusted all the Wellage products the YouTuber recommended, as they weren't bad, but this one... it's just not good... - ka******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 12, 2022
I bought this based on a recommendation, but the cooling effect wasn't as impressive as I expected. They advertised it as a gentle product with a cooling effect and intense hydration, but honestly, I wasn't fully satisfied with any of those claims. I got it at a discount through a group buy, but if I had to pay full price on the Wellage official site, I'd probably hesitate to purchase it. On the bright side, my extremely sensitive skin didn't break out, which is surprising given the ingredients aren't the best. The makeup applies well over it. The hydration seems to stay on the surface - I'm not sure if it's actually absorbing? The cooling effect is barely noticeable, which I suppose is better than an artificial cooling sensation. I can't really tell if it's improved my wrinkles either. I applied it mainly around my eyes for neck wrinkles, but saw no improvement. Interestingly, even though the ingredients don't seem great, I didn't get any blemishes, and my skin might have even improved a bit? The amount is disappointingly small. I've used it for a week, and it's decreased more than I expected. Wellage's basic skincare line has good ingredients, so why is this hydrating stick different? It's really disappointing. At least it didn't cause any blemishes!
