The intense hydration without any stickiness is perfect for my desert-dry skin! Once you apply and let it absorb well, the formula adheres nicely to the skin. I don't have any complaints yet! While one layer might not be enough for my extremely dry skin, layering it with a cream provides sufficient moisture. I'm not a fan of heavy creams, so I apply this twice. The first thing that surprised me was the generous amount - it's way more than I expected, even considering the price point! I was shocked... I think this could easily last 8-9 months with regular use. It's quite a fluid emulsion that feels incredibly lightweight when applied to the skin. Compared to other emulsions, it absorbs so effortlessly that I think it would be perfect for year-round use without feeling heavy or burdensome. Unfortunately, as someone who's been dealing with a damaged skin barrier, sensitivity, and blemishes since last year, this product didn't work wonders for me. For compromised skin like mine, ingredients that even slightly clog pores can hinder the healing process, so I didn't see significant improvements. Looking at the ingredients list, it's packed with skin-loving components - if this were a serum or hydrating cream, it might have been more effective for my skin type. There are various types of blemish-prone skin, so if you're dealing with barrier issues like me and are looking for light hydration after toner rather than soothing effects, this product might be worth trying! For summer, I'd recommend using just this product. However, in winter, mixing the emulsion with a moisturizer could be even more effective for hydration! Also, if you're experiencing sudden blemishes or have different skin concerns than mine, this might provide a soothing effect. I actually ended up liking the consistency. It's quite hydrating too. * While I haven't used it to calm any redness or blemishes yet, when I apply it before bed, I feel like my skin temperature drops a bit. It seems to have a slight soothing effect! There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but... there's also nothing exceptionally great either? It's just okay, pretty average overall. Be careful when dispensing - it can suddenly come out with a gush!

The texture: It has a slightly runny cream consistency! It didn't flow too much, and I thought it absorbed really well! The scent: I was a bit surprised at first. I expected a fresh, citrusy scent, but it had a slightly musty smell. I thought, 'What's this?' It reminded me of a medicinal ointment scent. Hydration: This was quite important to me. I always felt a deep dryness after washing my face. So I used this after cleansing, and wow, it absorbs incredibly well! It's amazing how deeply it hydrates, leaving my skin feeling super moisturized! I also appreciated the eco-friendly packaging! And I was worried about potential irritation since the ingredient list had a couple of questionable items, but I'm happy to report I didn't experience any issues! The downside is that it might be too rich for those with dry skin. At first, it felt moisturizing and nice, but by morning, my skin felt quite oily. The opening of the container is quite large, which sometimes leads to dispensing too much product. The packaging is so simple that it makes the product look cheap. I wish the lid was easier to open. When a product hydrates well, it also moisturizes effectively, making this more suitable for those with dry skin. As I have oily skin, I've been using it on my body where I need more hydration, rather than on my face! Lightweight feel: - At first, I thought it might be a bit sticky, but as soon as I started massaging it in, it transformed into a water-like texture that felt incredibly moisturizing and fresh. I really appreciated that it wasn't sticky at all. Drawback: - As someone with extremely oily skin, I woke up feeling quite greasy and a bit uncomfortable. This might be due to the summer weather, so I'm planning to try it again in winter. Occasionally get one or two pustular acne, and frequently get closed comedones. First impression: Design: From the box to the product, it's clean and luxurious. My name was handwritten on the card, which made me feel valued as a customer - a nice touch! You can use the separately provided puff by removing the transparent mesh in the second photo and inserting the puff. I like that you can choose based on your preference. Texture: It feels like a lightweight hydrating emulsion! Absorbs well. Finish: What really surprised me was that while my skin feels hydrated, it's as if I'm not wearing anything. It's not too light for combination dehydrated skin - you could use this alone in the evening - but once it's absorbed, it feels like you're not wearing anything! This was truly amazing. Even with multiple layers, it stays lightweight. My skin doesn't feel stuffy at all. When my friend tried it, she told me I must pack this for my trip to the Philippines! Highly recommended for oily and combination dehydrated skin types for summer use! If you like a fresh and lightweight finish that doesn't feel heavy on the skin, I recommend this! It's inoffensive and doesn't draw attention. Texture - It has a slightly runny cream consistency, so it absorbs well. It's much thinner than most hydrating creams. When applied, it doesn't feel heavy due to its low oil content. My previous moisturizer was already low in oil, but this feels even lighter while still being hydrating. It seems great for combating deep dryness, as it feels like it penetrates a bit deeper rather than just sitting on the surface. When applied to the back of my hand, it absorbs quickly without any oiliness. However, as I have very oily skin, I do notice some residual moisture and oil when applied to my face. Still, it's on the lighter side for a moisturizer, making it perfect for summer use. Note: It might be too light for dry skin types. Recommended for oily skin! Hydration - You can feel adequately moisturized without applying a large amount. I used to have small bumps below my temples, but they seem to be disappearing, possibly due to the hydration. The product description mentions it can help with sebum, dead skin cells, and pores. While I'm not sure about the pores, I do think my sebum production has reduced. I used to always have oily T-zone, but it's much less now. Also, I used to struggle with makeup application due to thin layers of dead skin, but since using this, my makeup goes on much more smoothly. I'm prone to sudden flare-ups of heat on my face, but I haven't experienced any since using this product. When that happens, my face gets red, pores enlarge, and it's really unpleasant. This seems to help in the long term rather than just providing temporary relief. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, so I can't speak to how this would work for those with super sensitive skin. For me, it was great with no irritation. Oh, and I'm not sure if they always include a pump, but having one made it so convenient to use. I personally really dislike jar packaging, which is common for moisturizers. I loved that this product comes with a pump! Cons - Honestly, none? I liked everything about it! When I tested it on the back of my hand, I felt a subtle cooling sensation, which made me realize 'Ah, this is how it cools down the skin.' When applied to the face and gently patted, it absorbs quickly without feeling heavy or greasy, which I really like. Compared to when I applied it on the back of my hand, I was disappointed that the cooling sensation wasn't as noticeable on my face. As for the scent, I'm not sure if it's meant to be unscented, but it has a medicinal odor similar to ointment.
