This was my first experience with a solid foundation, and I'm impressed! It leaves a matte finish and has great ingredients. The wide, thin puff at the bottom - I wasn't the only one who thought this, right? It was really disappointing... I found using a different sponge applicator worked much better. To achieve a flawless base without patchiness, make sure to prep your skin thoroughly with a good skincare routine. - ua******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 9, 2019
I'd recommend this if you already have great skin. That's about the only positive thing I can say. The coverage is practically non-existent. It doesn't apply thinly or evenly, and it clumps up easily. The packaging is also so light that it feels cheap and low-quality. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2018
Oh no, is this product discontinued? I was comparing Lancôme Teint Idole and NARS Radiant Longwear for summer foundation, but Lancôme's ingredients weren't great. Then I remembered how this product was so good at covering pores and blackheads while keeping skin matte. I searched for it, but it's nowhere to be found! Not even on the website. What's more, I just realized the ingredients are amazingly good for a base product. Why would they discontinue it? So sad! These days, color correctors and brightening moisturizers are popular. This product was perfect - matte finish, great for pores, and good ingredients. With the right combination, it could have been an unbeatable product. Such a shame! If you have dry skin, it can accentuate dead skin cells, so you need to take good care of exfoliation. - ko******Dry SkinApr 28, 2018
The case is pretty. That's the only positive I could find. (But even that's just a paper sticker on plastic, which quickly became a mess when I carried it in my makeup pouch.) What exactly is this product for? I received it as a gift and since the color seemed close to my complexion, I applied it with the included sponge. But there was absolutely no difference. (And that sponge is impossibly thin - when you try to pick up the product, it only sticks to the part where your fingers are.) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 27, 2017
The ingredients are great and the packaging is beautiful. I love the Benefit-like vibe it gives off. The old-fashioned ham-like sponge inside is really terrible. Plus, it has zero coverage and feels extremely greasy. The scent is also awful - it smells like rancid oil. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 31, 2016
I bought this just because I like Benefit, but it's not what I expected. I'll use it since I already purchased it, but I won't be repurchasing. The included puff is subpar. I bought a new one to replace it with an SK puff, but the original is so thin that the compact won't close with the new one inside. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 18, 2016
It really helped achieve a natural, bright complexion The coverage and staying power aren't particularly impressive It seems this would work best for those with a matching skin tone - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 6, 2016
I bought this when it came out during the height of the Lee Hyori effect craze. The packaging is really pretty, I'll give it that. I heard it was supposed to adhere perfectly to the face, which is why I bought it. While the texture is indeed creamy, once applied, the skin finish is far from what I expected. It actually feels more powdery and somewhat heavy. Also, despite being labeled as 'Light', it's surprisingly yellow and dark. I was shocked! I gave it to my aunt, and she loved it so much she used every last bit, scraping the bottom of the container. It seems to work better for warm-toned skin types. It's probably best suited for those with slightly oily skin, as it blends well with natural oils to create a satisfyingly matte finish. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 4, 2016
While the coverage isn't particularly impressive, it's perfect for evening out your complexion. Since I naturally have a fair skin tone, the 'Light' shade was a perfect match for me. Personally, I love how well it adheres to the skin. Initially, I thought it might feel sticky due to its creamy texture, but surprisingly, it applies with a soft, powdery finish. The lasting power is quite impressive too. The disappointing aspect was the built-in sponge. It was much thinner than expected and about the same size as the case, making it a bit awkward to hold and use. In my case, I had my own sponge ready to use, but if you're relying solely on the included one, you might find it quite inconvenient. Apart from the sponge issue, I didn't encounter any other problems. If you're aiming for comfortable and beautiful makeup, I strongly recommend having a good quality sponge on hand. - ya********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 8, 2016
The case is unique and beautiful. It has a distinctive design that really stands out. As someone with combination skin, I found the coverage to be non-existent and the staying power terrible. I'm not even sure if 'coverage' is the right word here - it's that bad. Sorry, Hyori unnie, but I'm disappointed. I paid a pretty penny for this, and after using it just two or three times, I can already see the bottom of the container. What a waste! I wouldn't recommend buying this product.
