I initially got this highlighter as part of a Benefit palette, and at first, I didn't reach for it much since I was already in love with my MAC highlighter. But now, it's truly a highlighter that makes me not envy ten others. The particles are so fine, and the shimmer has a genuine pearl-like glow. When applied with fingers, it gives off a mesmerizing and vivid radiance. If you blend it lightly with a brush, it creates an overall subtle glow that makes your skin look amazing. The shade is pink-gold, so if you're not into a pink tint, you might want to opt for something else. It has a strong pink undertone, and the shimmer is definitely golden. I have a deep undertone, but I think this beautiful color would suit both warm and cool skin tones. For highlighting the bridge of your nose, nose tip, and inner corners of your eyes, use your pinky finger or a very fine, small brush. For a natural glow on your skin texture and cheekbones, gently roll it on with a soft, wide brush for a beautiful effect. - km*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2022
This highlighter features a pink base with densely packed shimmering gold pearls. It glides smoothly onto the skin without clumping, giving a beautiful golden glow. The staying power is impressive, and the excess is fairly standard. Compared to Laura Mercier's highlighter, the particles are slightly larger, but still fine enough to apply on the nose. (Laura Mercier's finer particles give a more subtle highlight effect.) While the pearl particles are small, the base color is quite noticeable, making it tricky to apply on the nose or brow bone. It looks gorgeous when applied as a blush-highlighter hybrid on the cheekbones. It also layers beautifully over other blushes. I thought it might be similar to NARS Orgasm due to the pink base with gold shimmer, but they're quite different. Benefit's Tickle, being a highlighter, has denser and finer pearl particles. It's also a cooler pink shade compared to Orgasm. Arm swatches from top to bottom: Benefit Tickle, Laura Mercier, NARS Orgasm. The paper packaging is disappointing.
