I initially got this highlighter as part of a Benefit palette, and at first, I didn't reach for it much since I was already in love with my MAC highlighter. But now, it's truly a highlighter that makes me not envy ten others. The particles are so fine, and the shimmer has a genuine pearl-like glow. When applied with fingers, it gives off a mesmerizing and vivid radiance. If you blend it lightly with a brush, it creates an overall subtle glow that makes your skin look amazing. The shade is pink-gold, so if you're not into a pink tint, you might want to opt for something else. It has a strong pink undertone, and the shimmer is definitely golden. I have a deep undertone, but I think this beautiful color would suit both warm and cool skin tones. For highlighting the bridge of your nose, nose tip, and inner corners of your eyes, use your pinky finger or a very fine, small brush. For a natural glow on your skin texture and cheekbones, gently roll it on with a soft, wide brush for a beautiful effect. - km*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2022
This highlighter features a pink base with densely packed shimmering gold pearls. It glides smoothly onto the skin without clumping, giving a beautiful golden glow. The staying power is impressive, and the excess is fairly standard. Compared to Laura Mercier's highlighter, the particles are slightly larger, but still fine enough to apply on the nose. (Laura Mercier's finer particles give a more subtle highlight effect.) While the pearl particles are small, the base color is quite noticeable, making it tricky to apply on the nose or brow bone. It looks gorgeous when applied as a blush-highlighter hybrid on the cheekbones. It also layers beautifully over other blushes. I thought it might be similar to NARS Orgasm due to the pink base with gold shimmer, but they're quite different. Benefit's Tickle, being a highlighter, has denser and finer pearl particles. It's also a cooler pink shade compared to Orgasm. Arm swatches from top to bottom: Benefit Tickle, Laura Mercier, NARS Orgasm. The paper packaging is disappointing. - s0*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2022
I initially thought, 'Isn't this highlighter too expensive?' But it's absolutely worth every penny! The quantity is generous, and it's stunningly beautiful, making it 1000% worth keeping. The packaging is lovely, and there's no excess powder flying around. While there are many pretty highlighters in drugstores, this one's excellence is simply unmatched. While it looks like a pink pearl to the eye, it actually applies with a golden hue. So if you're after a cool-toned pink highlighter, this might not be the best choice. It's also gorgeous when used as a glitter! - an*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinDec 18, 2021
When applied well, it looks beautiful. It gives the appearance of radiant skin. The color isn't overwhelming and truly mimics a natural skin glow. It's probably a matter of personal preference, but the packaging is disappointing. Since it's made of paper, it looks worn out when you carelessly toss it in your bag and carry it around. On days when your skin condition isn't great, if you don't apply it carefully, it can make your complexion look even worse. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2021
When it comes to highlighters, it seems no one can match Benefit. I've tried all the famous color cosmetics from Stila, MAC, Bobbi Brown, and American drugstore brands, but they often sit on top of the skin or look patchy depending on my skin condition. It's hard to find a product that gives a silky, subtle, and luxurious glow even on dry skin like Benefit does. The paper packaging. Personally, I find it too childish.... It's a new product, but it looks no different from 10 years ago. I wish they would update the packaging to match the times.... - pm******Combination SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedOct 23, 2020
It gives a beautiful glow and the case is convenient. It fulfills its role as a highlighter perfectly. It's so pretty... I'm in love! There's a bit of excess powder and it's quite pricey... What a shame! Removing the transparent film is a bit of a hassle too. - ji*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 28, 2020
Love it! It's become part of my daily routine. When I sweep it over my cheekbones, forehead, and nose bridge as a finishing touch, it really brings out the dimension in my face! The mirror broke... My fault for not being careful enough. Other than that, no complaints! - 8j********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 3, 2020
The shimmer isn't too intense, so I feel it would blend well with Dandelion without being overwhelming. The natural and subtle color payoff creates such a seamless effect that people might wonder, 'Did she use a highlighter?' As someone who loves sparkle, I find it less brightening than I'd expect from a highlighter. Yet, it doesn't have quite enough shimmer to use as a blush either. It has amazing chemistry when used together with Dandelion! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2020
There's minimal excess powder! And since the powder isn't too heavy, you can easily use it for quick outings. The color payoff is truly beautiful. I think this shade is the prettiest! The built-in brush is also easy to use and convenient. It's a bit tricky to control the amount. When I first applied it, it was super shimmery.. Of course, that was my mistake! Just be careful with how much you use. - jj*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 22, 2019
First off, this highlighter is so powerful that you're guaranteed to have at least one person ask what you're wearing when you go out! It's truly a radiant powerhouse. When used with a blush like Dandelion, it really accentuates the highlighter's best features. I also feel like it has a brightening effect that makes my skin look fairer! For those with oily skin, if you don't apply powder properly, it tends to clump together, especially on days when your sebum production is in overdrive! Also, on days when you have blemishes, it might emphasize the skin's texture even more. I like to apply Dandelion as a base and then sweep this highlighter across my cheekbones. If you have Dandelion, I absolutely recommend using them together!
