As someone with oily skin that lacks hydration, I apply this Lay Beam Up before my cushion foundation. I used to get comments about my makeup looking dry and cracked, but since using this product, people often tell me my skin looks dewy and healthy. It creates that coveted 'Inner Glow' effect while making my complexion appear better overall. Personally, I'm not a fan of the slippery texture when it absorbs. It applies thinly while giving a definite glow, making it perfect to use before foundation! It's amazing for those who love radiant skin! The compatibility between the product and the puff is poor, making me wonder why they even included it... Compared to Season 2, this product applies much thinner and has a deeper color. However, the color is barely noticeable on the face and the brightening effect is minimal. While Season 2's price increased significantly, this product is actually much, much better! I bought this intending to use it as my only makeup product, and I'm pleased with how it gives my skin a nice glow and subtle shimmer. It's perfect for those days when you want to quickly apply something and head out. I'm a fan of glowy skin, so I decided to give this a try. It definitely lives up to its name, giving an intense glow and sparkle. It truly beams! I was a bit worried after some people said the glow looked unnatural, but it wasn't as extreme as I thought. It leaves my skin looking dewy and beautifully radiant. The product doesn't adhere well without using a brush. Also, it's not the most comfortable for summer use due to issues with longevity and stickiness. Keep an eye out for big sales! Shortly after I bought it, the price dropped to around 12,000 won.

That said, for those over 40, the richer texture might actually be a plus. If you keep your skincare base light and then apply this, its hydrating effect prevents makeup from separating. When I want to achieve that glowing skin look, this is my go-to product! Instead of focusing on intensive skincare, I apply this to my highlight zones for an intense glow, especially during winter! It's quite sticky, causing hair to cling to the skin, and the lasting power isn't great. However, it pairs well with matte foundations!
