It makes my skin smooth and gets rid of dead skin cells. It's the best! I hope it becomes available for purchase in Korea again.. It stings a bit when you first use it. Can't be helped I guess.. And now it's impossible to buy anymore.. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 27, 2018
Not a bad choice. It seems many others are fond of it too, but... Disappointing that the scent doesn't last very long... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 29, 2017
I've been using this product from DCL Korea's online store for at least 5 years now. I followed the steps, layering it up, and continued using this product as my go-to emulsion. Now that the site is closing down, I'm feeling a bit lost... When I first used it, it brought all the blemishes in my pores to the surface, and my face went crazy. But after that cleared up, it was like entering a whole new world. I guess it really suits my skin. Now I'm wondering what skincare to use next, so I joined Hwahae to leave this review. Farewell, DCL... *sigh* Since DCL Korea's headquarters is about to close down, I won't be using this anymore... It's such a shame. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 15, 2017
My skin was already decent, but using this product made it feel reborn... I started using it gradually about 8-9 years ago, then used the 10% version for a while. Since then, my skin has been consistently good. I have fair, seemingly nice but sensitive skin, and the improvements from using this product have lasted until now, making it incredibly valuable to me. The ingredients are actually quite good, which I didn't realize when I first started using it. Where can I buy this now? I've been trying to repurchase it after a long time, but I can't find it anywhere... The application process might be a bit tricky, but it's worth the effort. There's no particular fragrance, but since AHA dissolves dead skin cells, you might notice a slight foot odor on your face... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 1, 2017
I absolutely love this product! I've been using it for over two years now, and it's still my go-to. It's so amazing that I can't imagine using anything else. This has been my holy grail for such a long time, and I'm still head over heels for it! There's nothing particularly disappointing about the product itself. However, I've heard that it's no longer being distributed in Korea. That's something potential buyers should look into and keep in mind before purchasing. - bo******Oily SkinAcne SkinDec 30, 2016
I've been using this product for about a year and a half, starting with the 15% strength and now using the 20% gel version. Although it's recommended for morning and evening use, I only applied it every night. Since I'm not confident in applying sunscreen meticulously, using a small amount in the evening made one bottle last about six months. Despite being formulated for dry and combination skin, I, with my oily skin, saw significant benefits. After using DCL products, my redness disappeared and my blemishes improved considerably. I received many compliments on my skin's improvement. While my skin isn't perfect, it's much better thanks to DCL. First off, DCL products aren't cheap, so I only purchased them during sales. Even though my skin isn't particularly sensitive, I sometimes felt a tingling sensation after cleansing. The need to apply sunscreen diligently when using it in the morning was inconvenient for someone like me who isn't very thorough. Lastly, the most frustrating thing is that I can't buy it anymore... I'll have to look for other AHA products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 30, 2016
DCL products are a total must-have for those struggling with blemishes. I've been using them for 3 years now. Initially, there's a slight tingling sensation, but after cycling through the 10, 20, 30 'course', I've settled on using the 10 consistently. It's definitely better than other AHA products in terms of ingredients and effectiveness. DCL products generally seem great. Honestly, they're pricey, so I stock up during sales, buying about $200 worth to last 1-2 years. They say one bottle of emulsion lasts 2 months, but mine stretched to half a year! The price is a bit wicked, and like all AHA products, you really need to be diligent about applying sunscreen. Among DCL products, there's a regenerating cream - I think it's called Revitalizing - that one and their sunscreen are really fantastic. Personally, I go around recommending them to friends with blemish-prone skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 20, 2016
I can't believe I ever stopped using DCL when my skin was acting up. My skin returned to its normal pattern while using this, which made me want to try other products. I switched to Ato* after checking its ingredients on Hwahae, thinking they were good, but it didn't suit me at all - I broke out in blemishes and rashes! After going round in circles, I'm back to DCL. I'll just use it forever now. So glad to be back! It really stung when I first used it, because of the AHA ingredients. The downside is definitely that initial burning sensation. Also, you have to apply it after your toner has fully absorbed and your skin is completely dry. If there's any moisture left, the burning sensation explodes. Another thing is that the price seems to steadily increase every year. You need to stock up when you get a text alert about the 50% off sale after signing up for membership. But even when I first used this, my skin was in a completely messed up state, and I tried it with a 'this is my last hope' mindset. It really worked wonders. The tingling lasted about 1-2 weeks, but after that, I didn't get any blemishes and my skin texture improved a lot. It's good to use AHA peeling pads once every two weeks, followed by applying a regenerating cream like Quick Recovery. Only apply a small amount of the emulsion. I hope my skin, which got messed up again after trying other products, can recover quickly now that I'm back to using DCL! - sk*********Combination SkinAcne SkinDec 18, 2016
I bought this for my acne, and my skin improved a lot after using this emulsion It stung a bit when I first applied it, but it wasn't unbearable and you get used to it Use this if you're struggling with blemishes - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 19, 2016
My skin has definitely changed for the better. There's a natural glow even without makeup, and when I wash my face, the texture feels incredibly smooth. It's a noticeable difference. I didn't experience any purging, and it suits my skin well, so I've been using it consistently. It seems a bit of irritation is unavoidable, but if you apply just the right amount, you can use it without major issues. Consistent application seems to be key. You can actually see your skin transforming.
