I've been using this product for years. I really hope they don't discontinue it! It stings quite a bit when you first apply it, especially when your skin isn't in the best condition. But as you keep using it, your skin barrier strengthens and it quickly becomes more comfortable. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2019
I love that they're individually packaged, keeping them fresh. It's so convenient for clean use and easy to carry around. I feel like one capsule might be a bit insufficient, perhaps because I have a larger face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 19, 2018
I believe this is the most ideal preservation method among existing vitamin C serums. The ingredient list is simple, the concentration is reliable, and the effects are evident. Plus, it reduces the frustration caused by oxidation. Dimethicone is the first ingredient, which seems to be a necessary choice for preserving vitamin C. When used appropriately, dimethicone is a good ingredient that doesn't clog pores and even enhances hydration, but... this is basically a dimethicone blob, so it's hard to say... Still, I tolerate it for its effectiveness, as I'm tired of vitamin C products that always oxidize. I accidentally applied it near my eyes and ended up with swollen, inflamed eyes. It contains potentially irritating ingredients, so use with caution. Of course, using it together with vitamin E is common sense. - pj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinNov 5, 2017
The day after applying, your skin looks brighter. You can really see the difference! My skin is sensitive, so I can't use it daily, but even after using it consistently for a few days, you can notice the brightening effect and how smooth and soft the skin becomes. The individual packaging is great for travel too. Perhaps due to the high dimethicone content, it feels a bit heavy when applied. If you have skin like my friend's where pores get clogged easily, it might be risky. It creates such a thick layer that if you only cleanse with water the next morning, it doesn't come off completely. My skin gets super sensitive during my hormonal cycle, so I avoid using it from ovulation to the end of my period. Once my period is over, I apply it diligently as it's said to aid in skin regeneration, and my complexion improves rapidly. I bought it from a home shopping channel, and it came with vitamin E (which feels a bit oilier and spreads more easily). Mixing the two allows me to apply it generously up to my neck, which works well. It's also less irritating this way. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 8, 2017
The individual packaging is great for preventing oxidation. It applies smoothly like a hydrating moisturizer. I always make sure to use it in the evening after sun exposure. If your skin isn't in the best condition, it might tingle a bit at first, but you get used to it. Actually, that tingling sensation makes me feel like it's working its magic! It takes a while to absorb. Sometimes I wake up and there's still a white residue on my skin. And unless you catch it on a home shopping channel, the price is a bit steep... I apply Monoderm and then use a Mer* massager to help it penetrate deeper. This improves absorption, and if you experience any tingling during the treatment, applying a hydrating moisturizer or gel helps soothe the skin. - my*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsJul 15, 2017
I was really excited to buy this product because it's pure vitamin C! The individual packaging is fantastic, allowing you to use fresh vitamin C each time. Hmm... Maybe because my expectations were too high, but I'm quite disappointed with this product. There's nothing particularly bad about it, but the silicone ingredients make my skin feel suffocated. I can't really pinpoint any good aspects either. I apply the vitamin C serum generously and then put on a hydrating sheet mask. This way, there's no burning sensation and it works great! - rh**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 13, 2017
After having a baby, my skin became incredibly dry and my blemishes got worse and more numerous. I was watching a home shopping channel when they mentioned that new mothers especially need to take care of their vitamin levels. I was skeptical but decided to buy it, and the results are amazing! As soon as I apply it, my skin brightens up. The next morning, I wake up to find my redness has faded and my blotchy skin has calmed down. With consistent use, my blemishes have significantly lightened and my skin texture has improved so much. I'm definitely going to keep using it regularly! When you first apply it, it might sting quite a bit due to the high vitamin C content. However, if you use it consistently, you'll hardly notice the tingling sensation anymore. Also, it takes a while to absorb, so you need to apply it thinly and massage it in well. Don't try to speed up the process by patting it in quickly! I bought mine from a home shopping channel, so it came with both vitamin C and E. I mix them together before applying. This improves the absorption and significantly reduces the tingling sensation! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 6, 2017
I haven't found anything better than this product for improving skin texture. Currently, it's hard to find, and I'm focusing on hydration and firmness, so after repurchasing it three times, I've stopped buying it. However, I still recommend it. The packaging is disappointing, to be honest. It takes up a lot of space too. When used with other water-based serums or creams, it can pill on the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 16, 2017
I loved how hygienic it was to use each one individually, especially convenient for travel. The amount was a bit disappointing, but I've repurchased it because it's been so good for my skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 16, 2017
This is truly excellent for acne-prone skin. I've been battling acne for over a decade, but after using this product in combination with a blue light device, I've finally found freedom from blemishes. It's quite pricey. When purchased from home shopping channels, it comes with Vitamin E, but I hardly ever use that.
