As someone with dry skin, I used to feel tightness even after applying moisturizers, but with this one, there's no tightness at all. That's why I exclusively use this product now. It might feel a bit heavy during summer and has a slightly sticky texture... - ha******Dry SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2019
So-so... As someone in their mid-30s with combination to dry skin depending on the season, I've been using Innisfree products as my main skincare for over 5 years. I've heard that there isn't much difference in ingredients between Amore Pacific's high-end lines and their more affordable Innisfree line. I've used about 3 bottles of this product. ✔️Texture, Formula, Scent Comparing it to the Olive Real Power Cream EX, it has a similarly rich, heavy texture that feels quite oily. Like the Olive cream, the scent isn't particularly strong or irritating. It would be even better if they made it with just the natural scent of the ingredients, without added fragrance. That would be more in line with current trends. The oil content is suitable for use from late fall to spring. It feels less rich than the Olive Power Cream, but it's still quite thick and can feel a bit like it's sitting on the skin. After absorption, it's less shiny than the Olive cream, making it good for morning makeup application for very dry skin types in winter. ✔️Effectiveness Once absorbed, it makes the skin feel a bit more plump compared to the Olive Power Cream. However, I didn't notice any significant improvement in elasticity. To be fair, it's nearly impossible for an affordable skincare product to visibly improve elasticity. ✔️Perhaps due to its functional aspects... While it feels fine right after application, I sometimes felt inner dryness as time passed. This might be because the formula doesn't fully absorb into the skin. Compared to the Mamonde Mugunghwa Intense Cream I'm currently using, which has a thinner consistency, this cream causes more inner dryness. A thick texture doesn't necessarily mean it will prevent dryness. It's likely an issue with the ingredients and their combination. ✔️If you're looking for hydration and firmness from Innisfree products, it might be better to use the Olive Power Cream along with a firming essence line. As expected, it's disappointing that the ingredients include PEG. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 5, 2019
It's great for winter use. Plus, it suits my skin well as I haven't experienced any blemishes, so I'm using it regularly. It's a bit rich, so it might make your face look slightly shiny. Other than that, I don't see any downsides. - ha******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 4, 2019
Great for winter with its balanced moisture and oil content. It's hydrating, and when used with a cream, it even solved my deep dryness issues. While it was moisturizing and nice, my skin reacts badly to this. My entire face breaks out in tiny bumps, like millet seeds. I'm not sure why, but I recommend trying a sample first. Apart from this issue, it's good. - cc*****Dry SkinRecommendedSep 25, 2018
This cream is definitely for those with dry skin! In fact, I highly recommend it for those with extremely dry skin. As someone with super dry skin, most moisturizers don't cut it for me - I have to focus on hydration even in the height of summer. The Fermented Soybean Cream is incredibly rich and has a thick texture. After applying it, there's absolutely no deep dryness! I've been using it well from early fall through winter! I'm not sure if it's just me, but after applying this cream, I keep getting a strange cosmetic taste in my mouth. I'm certain I didn't apply it near my lips and I didn't eat any, but I kept tasting it all night while I was trying to sleep. It was quite bothersome... - sl******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 18, 2018
I can't really say what was good about it. I only used it for two days before giving it away to someone else. As I mentioned, I used it for just two days before giving it to an acquaintance because I felt it was a waste. The texture is slippery with a sticky consistency. When applied, it doesn't absorb immediately but feels greasy. It absorbs slowly. I applied it before bed and waited, but experienced redness and a dry feeling. The next morning, my skin was burning and I noticed blemishes appearing on my forehead and cheeks. Thinking it was strange, I tried it again the next evening, but my pores looked enlarged and I felt that burning sensation again. I washed it off, applied Innisfree Cica Balm, and went to sleep, which calmed my skin down. It really didn't suit me at all. I tried it because it only had two main ingredients, but I think I reacted to the fragrance. If you have super sensitive skin, please don't use this. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 18, 2018
When winter ended and spring came, I went to the store looking for a new cream. They recommended this product for dry skin. First off, its richness helped reduce the deep dryness I usually feel in a heated office during cold weather. I have extremely dry skin, but my T-zone tends to get oily. With this cream, I had to blot my T-zone several times with oil-absorbing sheets. I'd recommend this to those who need extra moisture in their skincare routine. The only thing worth recommending about this product is that it truly prevents skin from feeling tight. However, on sensitive days, it can cause blemishes and itching. I couldn't really tell if it improved skin elasticity as claimed. I absolutely wouldn't recommend using this in summer - it makes your skin incredibly oily. As someone with sensitive, dry skin, I strongly advise against this for those with sensitive or oily skin types. Not wanting to waste the leftover product, I applied it to my legs, which are prone to dryness in winter, and they became smoother. If you're reluctant to throw it away, I suggest using it on your body like I did. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2018
It's quite rich, which is good for surface dryness. Overall, it's not bad. However, it didn't solve deep dryness. You might need to use it with an essence. - ta******Dry SkinMar 8, 2018
My absolute favorite cosmetic! It absorbs beautifully, and after applying, if you cup your face with your palms, your skin gleams with a radiant glow that instantly lifts your mood. It's the best cream you can get for the price. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say it runs out too quickly. Looks like I'll need to buy another one soon! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 4, 2018
No matter how much skincare I applied, it would all evaporate within an hour, leaving my skin dry. But ever since I started using the Fermented Soybean Firming Cream as a final step, it's definitely helped my products stay put. Now, I always use this to finish my routine. It's so different from ending with other thick, balm-type creams that I can't go without it. I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with extremely dry skin like me! When I apply it as a final step, it leaves an oily film on my face which feels a bit heavy... Still, I continue using it since it does combat dryness.
