The pearl particles are as dense as foil, giving an incredible luminous finish Most of the colors in the palette are mid-tone, making it difficult to combine and use effectively. This reduces the overall versatility of the palette.

I love the square shape and magnetic closure, plus the large mirror is perfect for applying eye makeup. There are 12 shades in total, with 2 matte shadows and the rest having a subtle shimmer. The shimmer particles are fine and delicate, creating a soft, ethereal glow when applied. It gives such an elegant look to your makeup! The color payoff is beautiful, resulting in a gorgeous eye look. The palette is filled with shades that are ideal for daily wear, along with some burgundy and accent colors for more dramatic looks. The overall color harmony is really impressive. Unlike some palettes where you only use a few shades, with this one from Stila, you'll likely use all the colors regularly. The two matte shades work great as base colors. Shades like Kitten, Oasis, Wheat, and Jezebel have a lovely golden undertone, perfect for everyday looks and blending with darker colors. They're also great for highlighting the aegyo-sal area. Colors like Barefoot and Golightly are excellent for creating depth and even allow for navy smokey eye looks. I tried applying with both fingers and brushes - the pigmentation is soft yet buildable, and best of all, there's minimal fallout. With its beautiful, wearable colors and sophisticated shimmer, I highly recommend this palette to anyone looking for a versatile eyeshadow set for daily makeup. Long-lasting wear The shimmery eyeshadows break easily. I had to crush them and mix them with some toner to reshape them. Be careful with handling. The palette is also quite large and heavy. While the color payoff isn't extremely intense, it builds up nicely with layering. However, there's quite a bit of excess powder fallout! The color is absolutely gorgeous and it applies beautifully! With such a variety of shades, this one product is all you need to complete your makeup look. It tends to crumble a bit, which is a shame. The colors that work well together are conveniently arranged in a single row. With a hint of red, it's perfect for when you want to add a subtle twist to your daily brown look. I've always wanted to buy a Stila eyeshadow palette, but being a student, I couldn't afford it. Then, by chance, I found a Stila palette (Spirit) with a brush set online for less than $40, so I bought it right away! It's absolutely gorgeous, and I'm so satisfied. The colors are beautiful, and it's just stunning. If you're considering it, I highly recommend you go for it! The only downside might be that the original price is a bit high, but that's about it! I prefer having one palette instead of buying multiple individual shades, so I got this. I chose Spirit over Soul because the latter had too many common colors, and I'm satisfied. After all, you rarely hit pan on all the shades in a palette. The mirror is large, so I often use it as a standalone mirror. The powder doesn't have much excess fallout. The color payoff isn't as impressive as I expected. There's no included brush or space to store one, so you need to carry a separate brush. The palette is quite large and square, so it doesn't fit into smaller makeup bags. However, I find that I rarely use the two smoky shades at the bottom of the palette.

Spirit has more reds, which I thought would be versatile. Setting everything else aside, I'd repurchase this palette just for the Kitten shade alone. Kitten is in Soul too, but this one shade makes the whole palette worth it... It's truly amazing with no excess fallout. Stila, please make a large pan of just Kitten eyeshadow - not the liquid version, but the same formula as in the palette. It's seriously so beautiful. The overall combination is great, and it's even more versatile than I expected, so I'm really enjoying using it. The only thing I wish was different is that Kitten was as big as the top three shades combined. It's become my go-to for my aegyo-sal (under-eye area), so I think I'll hit pan on just this shade. It's disappointing how quickly it disappears with each use... I think the base, middle, and dark shades are well-balanced. I apply it with the brush that came with it, and the brush quality isn't bad at all. It applies well and the color payoff is good! The color payoff is amazing. The palette's color selection complements my complexion and makeup routine perfectly. I spent 30 minutes debating between Soul and Spirit before finally splurging on both! It's quite inconvenient for on-the-go touch-ups since there's no brush tip included in the palette. The staying power seems to be lacking as well.
