It's said to be great for sensitive skin and people have noticed improvements in their complexion. I'm still not sure about it. I'm using it well so far, but I think I need to use quite a bit of foam... is that right? - ks*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 18, 2025
I've been using this for about 2 years now and highly recommend it for oily, acne-prone skin! The scent is lovely too. Be careful - it leaves a slightly oily residue that can make your eyes sting terribly when you open them. Make sure to rinse thoroughly! This review highlights the product's effectiveness for oily, acne-prone skin types and its pleasant fragrance. However, it also warns about potential irritation if not completely removed, especially around the eye area. The contrast between the positive long-term use and the caution about thorough cleansing provides a balanced perspective for potential users. - 8r********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsMay 19, 2025
The foam type was good for writing, and there was hardly any irritation. Using this product, my pores and sebum production have increased, and I especially do not recommend it for those with sensitive and oily skin types. The oiliness remains the same, and the enlarged pores are really problematic. I do not recommend this product. - he********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 19, 2024
I love the soft, lightweight feel and how easy it is to use. At first, I thought the amount might be small, but as I used it, I found the quantity to be ample and satisfying. If you don't wear heavy makeup, this cleanser alone is sufficient for a thorough cleanse, which is great. As someone with oily skin, this product suits me perfectly. If I had to nitpick, the only slight inconvenience is opening and closing the lid, but that's really it. - so**********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 1, 2023
Since I don't wear makeup, I can't really comment on its cleansing effectiveness. However, as someone who only applies sunscreen, I found it incredibly gentle and non-irritating! Those with sensitivity to fragrances might find this a bit challenging. It has a somewhat unique scent. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2021
The foam is incredibly rich and soft, making it feel amazing on the skin. After rinsing, there's no deep dryness at all, and my skin feels lighter. Because the foam is so abundant, it tends to get into my eyes a bit, making them tear up. - rn***********Oily SkinRecommendedFeb 13, 2021
The skin doesn't feel tight or squeaky clean after washing, which is a plus. The amount of product is surprisingly generous. It feels gentle and non-irritating on the skin. It probably doesn't have enough cleansing power to remove a full face of makeup. It might be better suited as a morning cleanser. It tastes quite bitter if it gets in your mouth, so I recommend keeping your lips tightly closed while using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2021
This is truly a life-changing low pH cleansing foam! I can't praise it enough. It seems like there's at least one perfect cosmetic product out there for everyone. Reading other reviews, I noticed it doesn't work for some people, but it's absolutely perfect for me. I decided to give it a try after falling for the salesperson's pitch at Cosrx, and I'm so glad I did. Just touching my cheeks before bed puts me in a good mood now. When they were promoting Sebamed, they mentioned its antibacterial effects that help eliminate blemish-causing bacteria, and suggested leaving the foam on your skin while showering. I thought it was odd at first, but now I understand why. They also said it wouldn't sting if it got in your eyes, so I deliberately tested it - and they're right, it doesn't irritate my eyes at all. The foam dispenser makes it really convenient to use. I'm writing this review on impulse because I'm so happy I didn't waste my money this time! Even though I've sung its praises, there's one downside - the smell. It has a grassy scent, not like glue, but natural grass! It reminds me of the smell on my hands after crushing flower petals as a child. It's not so unpleasant that I can't use it, but it's not a scent I want to keep smelling either. I've found it works even better if you apply a generous amount of foam to your face and leave it on for a bit before rinsing. It's really helped clear up the blemishes caused by wearing masks. I use it for my morning cleanse. For those who wear makeup, I'd recommend using this as a second cleanse after removing your makeup, as it's not a strong cleanser on its own. - ca**********Combination SkinRecommendedOct 7, 2020
As someone with combination skin prone to blemishes, I noticed a significant reduction in breakouts after using this. I love that it foams up instantly when pumped, saving the hassle of lathering by hand. When applied to the face, it has a gentle tingling sensation due to its slightly acidic nature, giving you the feeling that it's thoroughly cleansing your pores. The texture is a bit slippery, which makes it less satisfying for those who prefer a squeaky-clean feel. Also, I personally find the fragrance a bit strong, so I wouldn't recommend it to those with sensitive noses. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2020
Great for gently caring for skin when you have a lot of blemishes It seemed to work well for a while, but I'm not sure about its effectiveness lately. The amount is a bit small
