I'm using this well alongside my day and night gel. It has a rich cream texture with excellent absorption that's perfect for sealing in moisture as the final step. It brightens my complexion and works great for my dry skin. While the price is a bit steep, it suits me so well that I plan to keep using it. ✓ Works great as a primer when applied right before makeup ✓ The rich texture feels like it effectively fills in pores ✓ I've been using this nourishing cream for 5 years now... need I say more? ✓ I avoid applying it before bed as it makes my skin too oily the next day ✓ Might provide excessive richness for those with oily skin ✓ The amount is small... and they don't include a spatula, so it always gets under my nails When applied right before foundation (in my experience), there was absolutely no pore-clogging or patchiness. The cream applies smoothly and feels lightweight. It gives a sensation of coating the skin. It reminds me of a massage cream or cold cream. The ingredients are a bit disappointing. Skin barrier formation: True to its name, it feels like it creates a protective coating on the skin's surface, making it feel more firm and resilient. Seasonal use: Its moisturizing and rich texture makes it ideal for winter or dry transitional seasons. (Not suitable for summer use) Skin type recommendations: While it might work well for dry skin, as mentioned earlier, its slightly heavy and rich texture means those with oily or combination skin should probably avoid it. Hygiene concerns: Unlike most products that come with an inner seal, this one doesn't have one, nor does it include a spatula, which raises hygiene issues.

I didn't apply it as a brightening moisturizer per se, but rather as the final cream step after my skin and emulsion. I got it through my mom's recommendation, and since it was winter when I received it, I slathered it on generously until my face didn't feel dry the next day. I used it for about 6 months, and while I didn't notice, my mom occasionally mentioned that my skin seemed to have lightened. It actually does have a brightening effect! I still firmly believe this product is responsible for my changed skin tone (even though my mom insists it's just natural lightening as I grow older). [The real advantages] ○ Hydration. If you consistently apply it to dry areas, you'll see results before you know it. ○ While results may vary, it does have a brightening effect! ○ It had a pleasant scent. I had a great first impression. I bought it after hearing all the buzz, and when I tried the sample, it really seemed to calm my skin down. As someone with super sensitive skin, there were times when my skin would react severely and the itching was unbearable. That said, it does provide good hydration, so I've repurchased it a few times and I'm still using it now.
