As someone with oily skin, this BB cream worked really well for me. It did a great job covering light acne marks and redness, and even provided good pore coverage with just the BB cream alone. The staying power was impressive, and even when used in summer on my oily skin, it didn't feel greasy but maintained a nice hydrated feel. The adherence to the skin was also quite good, making it an excellent value for the price. I was very satisfied using this product! The packaging is quite disappointing. It comes in a cylindrical container with a spatula attached to the lid for scooping out the product. While this works fine when the container is full, it becomes really difficult to use the spatula when the product level goes down. Also, I noticed it's out of stock online, so I'm wondering if it's been discontinued. - ww******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 13, 2019
I've used this sample about 3-4 times and it's absolutely fantastic. Personally, I feel it's the best among all the base products I've tried so far. The shade was perfect for me, as I usually use 22-23. It looks natural and hydrating, and it's beautiful when you pat it on with your fingers! I was satisfied with how well it adheres to the skin and its (natural) coverage. Usually, moisturizing formulas lack in longevity, but this product's staying power was impressive too. I'm planning to switch to this product once I finish my current foundation, but I noticed a few drawbacks when I saw it at the Too Cool for School offline store. While there aren't any particular functional issues, since it's a lunchbox set, it comes with a concealer and highlighter on top. These aren't products I use often, so they feel a bit unnecessary. Also, the product size itself is quite small. I think it would be better if the foundation was sold separately, but I'll review the concealer and highlighter after purchase as well! I was very satisfied when I applied it with my hands! It's such a shame that it's being discontinued... - th******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 14, 2019
I've used about three bottles of this product. It's truly moisturizing with excellent absorption, making it a pleasure to use. The staying power is also quite good. Even after a long time, the skin still feels hydrated. When I recommended it to friends who struggle with dry skin, they were all satisfied with the product. The concealer and highlighter are really not great. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile, multi-purpose product. It's solely worth purchasing for the foundation. For areas where oil tends to build up, applying powder can help prevent the makeup from breaking down and improve its longevity. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 15, 2019
The color payoff is great, and the coverage is pretty decent. The staying power isn't bad either. The shade matches my complexion well, so I've been using it daily as my go-to product. The highlighter on top had relatively coarse particles, and its spatula format made it a bit of a hassle to scoop out and apply the product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 11, 2018
I'm nearly on my fifth bottle! Before, I used to switch between foundations and BB creams frequently, but for the past two years, I've been exclusively using this one! I prefer pump bottles, so having to scoop this out is a bit inconvenient - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedOct 31, 2018
The unique design caught my eye, and it's the best BB cream I've used so far. It's great when applied after a hydrating primer, staying moisturized for a long time. The longevity is so impressive that I haven't needed to touch up with cushion foundation. The coverage is also good - if you apply it generously on areas you want to conceal before putting on the BB cream, it covers naturally and beautifully. The spatula-like applicator inside the container is unnecessarily large. The packaging makes it difficult to use the product economically to the last drop. It would be better if the spatula had more flexibility. - Apply a hydrating primer before use - Use Skinfood's wedge puff to apply (it applies smoothly even with a generous amount) - For areas needing more coverage, apply an extra layer. Using the puff to layer doesn't cause clumping and applies naturally - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSep 29, 2017
I loved how it applied smoothly and thinly without feeling heavy on the skin! Unfortunately, I noticed it seemed to darken my skin tone a bit... Try applying with a puff? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 17, 2017
The generous amount, inclusion of concealer and highlighter, plus the convenient mirror were great features. It was wonderfully hydrating, which was perfect for my typically dry U-zone. However, in my quest for hydration, I completely missed the mark on color. I usually use shade 21-22, but my friends teased me, asking if I'd been poisoned, and my roommate exclaimed it looked like a yellow emulsion, urging me to toss it immediately! Despite that, it actually suited my skin well. It absorbed nicely without much pilling, though it was helpless against occasional flaky skin around my nose. Anyway, if you're aiming for a jaundiced look, I'd recommend this! I should've ignored the advice from the cosmetics store assistant. She said, 'Since you want something hydrating and a natural complexion, I recommend shade 2.' It ended up looking less natural than bare skin. However, I think shades 22-23 and up would probably work well. The quantity is truly generous. I bought it around winter of my senior year in high school, and it's still going strong even though I'm in my second semester of college now... Even considering I barely wore makeup during my final year of high school! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 28, 2017
I used to only use BB creams, but after trying this product, it's become my go-to. The coverage and staying power are excellent. The foundation is great, and the built-in concealer offers impressive coverage too. Some people mentioned it was drying, but I found it quite moisturizing. For some reason, shade 23 seems more hydrating than 21. I use both shades together, applying 23 around the edges, and I'm really happy with the results. After using this, my blemishes got a bit worse. I wonder if it's because it clogs pores... However, I feel a bit guilty blaming just the cosmetics, as during this period I was repeatedly wearing makeup for long hours and not getting enough sleep. When I stopped wearing makeup and got proper rest, my skin improved. Now I'm not sure what to do when classes start again. I'd appreciate any advice! If your complexion is hard to match or you prefer a healthier, slightly darker look, mixing with shade 23 might work well. The concealer is good, but the highlighter is inconvenient to use, so I rarely reach for it. Skip buying the concealer, but do get the highlighter! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 21, 2017
I initially tried a sample and liked it so much that I bought the full-size product. It matches my complexion well, and when applied with a damp sponge, it adheres nicely to the skin. The included highlighter is something I personally use often. The packaging is incredibly inconvenient. If it came in a different container, I would buy it again without hesitation. The current packaging is so frustrating to use. It seems to work well with a damp sponge. The highlighter has many uses, but be careful with the concealer - apply it very thinly, otherwise it tends to separate.
