The Skinmiso lab is known for its intensive research on pores. In an interview with makeup artist and CEO Seo Sujin, she mentioned buying several bottles for her sister who had major pore concerns. Her sister, who used to only use La Mer, became a huge fan of Skinmiso. Seo Sujin compares Skinmiso to a person who is clear and consistent, with words and actions that match. Although I haven't been using it for long, I believe that when choosing skincare, addressing pores and dead skin cells should be the top priority. Neglecting these two aspects can lead to dull skin and accelerated aging. As I approach my 40s, 'aging' skin is my biggest fear. Even if ingredients are good or bad, they won't help my skin unless they work for me. If the levels of supposedly 'bad' ingredients aren't in the danger zone, I think it's fine to use them. As someone with oily, dehydrated skin, I've noticed two things while using Skinmiso: First, my skin doesn't feel dry after peeling or using a mask. Second, I can sense a slight brightening of my complexion. I'll need to use it for another month to make a final decision, but I'd recommend those with sensitive or dry skin to give it a try on their vanity or in their bathroom. I haven't used it for a full month yet, so I'll need to use it a bit longer to know for sure. If there's a tip, it might be to open up the pores before use. It's better than using it on a bare face. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinApr 19, 2015
I loved how I could visibly see the dead skin cells coming off with this peeling gel. It was so satisfying! After exfoliating and cleansing thoroughly, my skin felt squeaky clean and refreshed. Since my skin type doesn't have particularly large pores, I found it didn't effectively remove deep-seated dead skin cells or the flaky patches that sometimes appear when I use a BB cream that doesn't suit my skin. While my skin felt fine right after exfoliating, I noticed some flaky patches the next day. In my opinion, this product only seems to remove the superficial layer of dead skin cells and doesn't really tackle the debris in the pores. I have combination skin! It's balanced with just the right amount of oil and dryness, giving me that soft, velvety feel.
