Despite concerns about slow absorption, it's not an issue if you pat it in. It's affordable, so you can apply generously. When I wake up, my complexion seems improved and my skin feels hydrated until morning. The flip side of its hydrating effect is that it can feel sticky. The scent really bothers me, making it impossible to use on days when I'm not feeling well. Sometimes it makes me gag, though some people say the fragrance is fine. Lately, I've been using it as a foot cream - it absorbs quickly on my feet, perhaps because they're so dry. - 14*******Normal SkinOct 9, 2023
I got to try this as a gratis item, and it felt surprisingly concentrated and packed with nourishment. The hydration power is really impressive. Well, the scent is a bit off-putting. It also tends to absorb rather slowly into the skin. I consider body skin care just as important, so I applied this during the dry autumn and winter months. It left my skin feeling incredibly moisturized! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedDec 21, 2018
* This product is used for skin regeneration after laser treatments. * The texture is like stretchy cheese, which gives it a substantial feel as a snail cream. * Due to its thick consistency, it tends to pill when applied before makeup. Therefore, I recommend using it only before bedtime. * I deducted one star because the ingredients don't seem as good as I expected. I recommend applying it before going to bed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 14, 2018
I apply this before bed, and the next morning my makeup goes on smoothly. It even seems to help calm my blemishes! The scent is quite rubbery, which made me think it was unscented. But when I checked the ingredients on Hwahae, I saw it contains fragrance. I think it would be better without any fragrance at all. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 3, 2018
I had high hopes for this product since other snail-based brands worked so well for me, and I'm happy to say this one didn't disappoint! I'm writing this review after nearly finishing the entire jar - I just can't stop reaching for it! The texture is smooth and applies easily. While it doesn't absorb instantly, give it some time and your skin will feel velvety soft to the touch. It's not intensely hydrating like some products that leave your skin feeling drenched, but it does a good job. I'd recommend this more for winter use and for those with dry rather than oily skin. It would have been more hygienic if it came with a spatula. Alternatively, a pump dispenser would make me even more likely to use it regularly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 19, 2016
At first, it applies smoothly. However, if you don't control the amount well, it can pill and become difficult to spread. In that case, gently patting it helps it absorb quickly. Once absorbed, there's no stickiness at all. The hydration feels a bit lacking, so I'm adding an extra layer of oil. Still, since snail mucin filtrate is the main ingredient, I'm continuing to use it, believing in its skin regeneration properties. There's plenty of product, so I'm even applying it to my arms and legs. The slightly thick texture makes opening the inner protective cap a bit inconvenient. I wish they'd add a handle to the cap. For those with dry skin, the moisturizing effect might be insufficient. While the presence of PEG is a bit concerning, it's in the middle of the ingredient list, so it's tolerable. The fragrance and preservatives are near the end of the list, so they shouldn't be a major issue. Adenosine is positioned further down the list than expected, so significant wrinkle improvement might be hard to achieve. If you have dry skin, I recommend applying an oil after this product. Feel free to use it generously on your arms and legs, especially if you bought it on sale. To prevent clumping, don't apply too much at once. Instead, pat it in gently for better absorption. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 28, 2016
The hydration power is surprisingly good! It's quite usable, not too shabby. While it's good for moisturizing, it feels a bit sticky, or should I say... uncomfortable? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 4, 2016
It's so hydrating... I only used it for two days, but I could feel how well it absorbed and how moisturized my skin felt the next day. I used this for two weeks without realizing it was the cause of my skin's deterioration. After using it for over a week, I think it really didn't suit me. I broke out in acne and my skin became extremely red. I was shocked and had to visit a dermatologist... Please consider carefully before purchasing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 28, 2016
It gives a nice glow and provides excellent hydration. The next day, my skin felt moisturized and looked great. My makeup applied smoothly over it. When applying, it felt thick and slippery. You need to use quite a bit of product, so it runs out quickly. - ni******Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2016
You can find it cheaper on social media platforms. That's about the only good thing. I really wonder why the regular price is so high. After applying this, my face started burning intensely, my redness became severe, and my skin peeled off... Wow, I've never experienced such side effects in my life! It took so long to recover. Thanks to this, my skin became super sensitive. And it's really, really dry and tight on the skin. Nothing else to add. It's better not to use it at all. I can't trust the ingredient list.
