If I had to mention one positive aspect... it's that being a pencil, it's lightweight and easy to carry around. That's about it, unfortunately. I found it too dry and didn't like it at all. It's quite dehydrating. I'm not sure if it covers well... It's really not great for use around the mouth area. I got shade 23, but it's too light, which makes it even worse. I regret buying it. The staying power isn't great either... - ko********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsMay 21, 2017
It's great for covering small areas like blemishes. The consistency isn't too soft, but rather firm, which allows for excellent coverage. I apply the concealer before my cushion foundation, then gently pat the cushion over it for a natural-looking cover-up. When trying to cover larger areas, the firm texture that works so well for small spots becomes a drawback. It's so thick that even when you pat it with a cushion, it doesn't blend out naturally and can leave visible marks. After finishing with the cushion, I often have to reapply the concealer and gently pat it with my fingers. This concealer is best suited for covering small blemishes or spots. Apply the concealer first, then follow with your cushion or BB cream. Instead of rubbing, gently pat the product onto your skin. This technique prevents the concealer from pilling and ensures a flawless finish. - cs********Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 16, 2017
- Portability: Light and easy to carry around. Hmm... I can't really think of any other good points. As a concealer, it's pretty much useless, so I'm using it for other purposes. It's a shame to throw it away! 1. Emphasizes dead skin cells: It might be too dry for those with dry skin. It also accentuates flaky skin... 2. Color: The shade is too light to cover blemishes. I wish it was just a bit darker... 3. Coverage: Concealer minus coverage equals... what are you? It's more of a brightening moisturizer than a concealer. But if you try to layer it, it pills... 1. Under-eye area: You can use it to fill in the tear trough! Don't throw it away just because you don't like it as a concealer. 2. Natural highlighter: You can use it as a subtle highlighter! Apply a bit of moisturizer, then swipe this on for a natural glow. The light color works well for this. Just be careful to blend it properly, or it might look like you've drawn lines on your face. If you find highlighters too expensive, try this as a budget-friendly alternative. As a concealer, it's a total fail, but it has some other uses, so I'd give it 2 out of 5 stars. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 20, 2017
I loved how well it concealed scars and blemishes I wanted to hide Even though I don't have particularly sensitive skin, the areas where I applied it to cover blemishes broke out in a rash-like reaction and became itchy. This product just didn't work for me - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 22, 2017
It's like using Photoshop on your face in real life! Just dab it on any areas you want to conceal, and it covers so naturally. Perfect for those times when you need to go bare-faced but want to hide a few key spots - no one will ever know! It's a real winner! And although the amount seems small, you only need to use a tiny bit each time, so it lasts much longer than you'd expect. Since it's not a liquid formula, it can accentuate dead skin cells. While it's perfect for covering scars, it might not work as well on active blemishes or marks that haven't fully healed yet. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinDec 19, 2016
I really like it! It covers well and seems to be a great product. It's definitely not bad at all. There's a lot of dust-like particles on the concealer, and the amount is quite small, unfortunately. You can use this concealer on areas like dark circles and such. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 7, 2016
It covers blemishes naturally with just a dab. I use it as a finishing touch after covering imperfections with another concealer. The convenience is its main advantage. I wish they had a shade one tone darker. It's a bit light for covering blemishes. When using it around the lip line, if you don't blend it immediately after applying, it sets and becomes difficult to remove, coming off like dead skin cells. The same goes for applying it on the skin - you need to blend quickly for a seamless finish. - yu******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 19, 2016
I've been using The Saem, then Luna, and now Missha for concealing. While using The Saem and Luna, I felt like they were causing blemishes, so I was looking for a gentler product and decided to buy this one. So far, it doesn't seem to be causing any blemishes. 1. The size is perfect for covering small areas of pigmentation. 2. It's affordably priced. 3. The ingredients are milder compared to other concealers. 4. You get a generous amount of product. 5. The pencil type makes it convenient to use, carry, and store. 1. It has a strong reddish tone. Even when applied in small, precise dots, the redness is visible up close. It might be difficult to use over larger areas. I'm planning to look for another pencil product without the reddish tint. 2. The coverage is not as good as The Saem and Luna. However, layering it a few times gives decent results. 3. It doesn't adhere to the skin as well as I'd like. But interestingly, it shows less creasing over time compared to The Saem and Luna. It just stays matte, maintaining its initial appearance. 1. After dotting it on small areas, don't use a concealer brush! Use a lip brush instead! (And not the flat kind of lip brush.) Use a very thin lip brush, like the ones for applying liner, to gently blend the edges. Since it's meant for small areas and the coverage is a bit weak, using a regular concealer brush can make the product spread too much and fade away. Try to avoid touching the area you want to conceal, and use the lip liner brush to blend only the edges with your base makeup. 2. Since the coverage isn't high, apply multiple layers for areas that need more concealing. Remember to blend the edges with the brush between layers for a natural finish. - lh********Dry SkinFeb 10, 2016
I bought this for spot coverage, and I'm using it on scars. Maybe because they're not raised, but it covers well without being noticeable. I really like it! The cap gets dirty easily when opening and closing, just like an eyeliner. It's a bit frustrating. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinDec 31, 2015
After applying Missha Magic Cushion as a base, I use this to cover spots and it's amazing! While it doesn't provide 100% coverage, it seems to cover imperfections naturally. Be careful when using the rolling mechanism at the back to dispense the product. Mine broke and now I can't use it properly. Such a bummer! Pro tip: After using this up, try applying your cover cushion with the pencil part at the top for even better coverage. It works wonders!
