As someone with oily yet dehydrated skin, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't cause excessive dead skin cells to appear. It even seemed to provide some coverage for my facial redness. However, the inherent dryness of the compact powder is unavoidable. It makes me want to wash my face as soon as I get home, no matter how tired I am. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 13, 2017
Recommended for dry skin types. The coverage is moderate. It's suitable for both initial application and touch-ups. The formula is nicely hydrating. The built-in puff is firm and of good quality. When pressing the compact, it becomes overly moist, causing water droplets to form and the product to crumble. The longevity could be improved. The shade comes out a bit lighter than expected, which is disappointing. Using the included puff can be somewhat challenging. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 20, 2016
I only bought the cushion refill online, and after applying my skincare routine, I tried the product. I was extremely satisfied with how it created a moisturized, glowing complexion that looked translucent. As a student, I'm particularly concerned about longevity. After just one class, my friends mentioned that my makeup had disappeared. When I looked in the mirror, I was shocked to see only darkening and excess oil remaining, with no trace of makeup left. What's more, after about two weeks of use, I'm furious because blemishes started appearing on my face. Unless you're willing to touch up your makeup every hour, I wouldn't recommend purchasing this product. - he****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 25, 2016
The adherence is great. It's excellent for evening out the complexion too. It provides a natural-looking correction. However, on particularly dry days, it might flake a bit. So those with dry skin might want to avoid it. Additionally, I have somewhat large pores on my nose. My previously used Verite LX could cover pores to some extent when applied thickly, but this product doesn't seem to cover pores no matter how thickly I apply it. Bamboo gel? I bought it together with a Tony Moly product and used them together. It seems to improve the adherence even more. Very good! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinJun 19, 2016
At first, I bought it without knowing much and loved how moisturizing it felt. When you rub it with your hands, it creates a water-like texture. The puff is so bouncy, it's delightful! Unlike sponges or other puffs that absorb foundation, this one doesn't. However, I'm not sure if it's the product quality or the puff, but the adherence is lacking. Sigh... No... Last year, I was in a rush to buy something for a retreat, leaving at 8 or 9 PM. While searching, an employee suggested this product was better than what I was looking for. When I tried it, I thought, 'Oh? A cooling effect? Nice...' I asked if it was suitable for oily skin, and they said it's what people with oily skin use. Anyway, it was 20,000 won with a refill, so I fell for the employee's pitch and bought it. But oh... When I quickly applied it during the retreat, my face turned pale, and it emphasized dead skin cells. I had to go around with spit on my face. There's zero adherence, and it feels a bit clumpy. It's like it would bunch up if you applied powder over it. It might seem like I'm exaggerating, but it seriously sticks to your hair. Not recommended for oily skin, those who like matte finishes, people with a lot of dead skin cells, or those with blemishes. Don't buy it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 16, 2016
The case. I like that the mirror is large, and it doesn't make my face itchy. I wish I had seen this sooner... It only settles into the pores around my nose, doesn't blend with my base makeup, shows all the texture on my face, and I don't know if it's just me, but the puff is too firm for patting. Honestly, it's a waste of money. None. Just look for something else and use that instead. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 15, 2016
I loved seeing the essence rise up. When you gently massage it with your hands, you can actually see the essence coming to the surface. When I first used it, my skin became bumpy, but I thought it was just because my skin was sensitive. However, when I applied it after using another product, my skin completely flared up... I don't plan on using Tonymoly skincare products anymore. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 13, 2016
The absorbs well. It seems to match my complexion nicely, giving a smooth and natural finish. After about three to four hours, it produces too much oil and my makeup starts pilling. I have combination dehydrated skin, so my U-zone is always dry, but even my cheeks get oily... It's the first time I've experienced oiliness on my cheeks. It also transfers a lot onto my hands. My makeup completely came off when my nails barely grazed my skin. This product has a yellowish tint, so when I applied it after using a sunscreen that leaves a white cast, it actually helped balance out the whiteness? Anyway, that's why I think it looked natural. In any case, I'll be using something else... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 29, 2016
The one positive thing I can say is... the puff is really firm? That's about it... sigh. First off, the coverage is just not good at all... When I apply it, it feels like it's sitting on top of my skin. And rather than being hydrating, it just looks greasy. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 4, 2016
I use this for touch-ups. When I apply a few thin layers, it goes on smoothly and gives a dewy finish. I usually wipe off some of my previous makeup with a cotton pad soaked in toner before using it. Even when I'm in a rush and don't have time for a full skincare routine, the formula feels hydrating enough. It's a decent all-rounder. The puff is great too - I wish I could buy it separately! It's easy to pat the product on, and when it gets dirty, you can just wash it with water or wipe it with a wet tissue. The downside is that I didn't expect much since it's not my main foundation, so it's just okay. It only covers the T-zone, and I need to reapply occasionally.
