The best part is that you can apply it to your scalp. Even though I have oily skin, mixing it 1:1 with water makes it not greasy at all. If shampoo is like a foam cleanser, this product feels more like a toner or hydrating cream. On days I don't use it, my scalp gets dry and itchy, so I can't help but use it daily! Of course, the price is the main drawback. Other than that, there's not much to complain about... It's almost heartbreaking to use the full-strength product alone because it feels wasteful. If you mix it 1:1 with water, it lasts much longer! Apply it like a mask, or use it as a sleeping pack before bed. When you rinse it off in the morning, your scalp will feel super hydrated and your hair will be much softer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedDec 31, 2021
It provides great hydration and leaves my hair feeling soft and silky after use. I thought I was taking good care of my hair by using this at least twice a week. However, during a scalp clinic visit, I was told my scalp was dry. When I checked the ingredients on Hwahae, I realized water is the main component. What a letdown. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 16, 2021
Even with just a quick rinse without leaving it on for long, your hair becomes noticeably softer. After continued use, I feel like my sensitive scalp is getting worse. Even after washing my hair, the problematic areas of my scalp remain itchy and won't calm down. Upon checking the ingredients, oh dear... Those with extremely sensitive scalps should really think carefully before using this. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2021
It really helped improve my severe psoriasis (I only used it on my scalp) The price...? When I used it, I loved everything about it except the cost - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 24, 2021
As I've hit my fifties, I've noticed my hair thinning and becoming coarse. Someone recommended this product, so I gave it a try. A small amount is enough for a scalp massage, and when you smooth it down, you don't need to use much. It really improves the texture of your hair. Sure, it's pricey, but there are even more expensive options out there. It's worth investing in yourself. Since you only need a little, it lasts a long time. Skip a drink and treat yourself to this instead - you won't regret it! Nothing negative to say... I'm struggling to find twenty characters worth of criticism. I just wish it was more widely available for purchase. Even with casual use, it works wonders. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2021
If a salon ever turns you down for a perm due to your scalp or hair condition, try using this for a month before and after your visit. It's always worked for me. Personally, out of all the hair products I've tried, this is my absolute favorite. I checked the ingredients before using this and had to deduct two stars. Given its price point, the ingredients aren't as good as I'd hoped, which is really disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 9, 2020
I've been using this for years on my hairstylist's recommendation. Both the shampoo and hair mask are incredibly gentle, so I've been consistently using them with great results. The steep price was always the biggest drawback, but when I checked the ingredients on Hwahae... Oh no! I've been spending so much money on this, and now I feel betrayed. They talked about growth factors and whatnot, so I assumed the ingredients were good, but... - no********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 29, 2020
I used these products at a hair care salon during scalp treatments. They said the hair pack was so good you could even sleep with it on after diluting it with water and applying it to your scalp and hair. I used it for almost 2-3 years, including shampoo, pack, ampoule, etc. It was indeed quite effective. When I had to stop using it because it was wickedly expensive and switched to other products, I thought Dermaheal was the best. Out of curiosity, I checked the ingredients on Hwahae... It's expensive, and the ingredients... Although it seemed effective, it's overpriced considering the ingredients. I just realized the ingredient list now... There are many not-so-great ingredients, aren't there? Even though it seemed to work well... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 29, 2020
It softens hair almost as well as a conditioner, but I'm not sure if it's really any better than others. I'm giving it one star just because I feel like I have to rate it something. The ingredients are a deal-breaker right off the bat. With this many harmful components, I'm worried about it coming into contact with my scalp or skin. It's not worth the risk. Generally speaking, it's not cost-effective, and since it's not available online, purchasing is inconvenient and difficult. There's no need to go out of your way to choose and use this product. It's far better to easily and affordably use other products with much better ingredients. I feel like I've been ripped off at the salon. While they do a good job with my hair, this experience makes me not want to go back. - sk*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 30, 2020
It's great for my super dry scalp. Even though I have bleached hair, it absorbs incredibly well - just a dab the size of my thumbnail does wonders! I found some of the ingredients a bit disappointing. Other than that, no complaints except for the rather steep price. Mix it with purified water in a 1:5 ratio
