A winter essential. In the dry office air where my skin tends to look flaky, I apply a super thin layer and it stays put all day long! No more flaking! I hate feeling greasy, so I use the tiniest amount, and this is the only balm that gives such great results with so little product. It absorbs well right after application, leaving no sticky feeling throughout the day! Other moisturizers and balms dry out quickly, requiring multiple applications, but this one only needs to be applied once a day. So convenient! This means the product lasts longer for its size. The thick consistency makes it hard to squeeze out in winter. Its rich texture makes it challenging to spread evenly over large areas. When taking Accutane and your lips get dry, causing dead skin cells to become more noticeable, there's truly nothing better than this. Highly recommended! It immediately fixes dry lips, and during fall and winter when it's dry and difficult to apply matte lipsticks, I apply this before bed. When I wake up, my lips are plump, allowing me to apply lipstick without any issues. The Vaseline-like texture makes it a bit challenging to apply, and its heavy consistency might feel uncomfortable for some. If you find it too heavy and inconvenient, try applying it before bed. In the summer of 2018, I suddenly developed cheilitis and had a terrible time. My lips were painfully dry, and applying lip products caused a burning sensation - it was a dreadful experience. The dermatologist warned that I might lose my lip color, which worried me a lot. That's when I discovered this product after scouring the internet. I used it while taking medication, and I've continued using it even after my cheilitis improved. Regular lip balms can be harmful due to friction, and indeed, after the cheilitis, my lips were so dry that I couldn't use ordinary lip products. Although it's quite thick, I strongly recommend this product for those with severely dry lips like mine. I've been using it consistently since 2018. It's become an absolute essential for me. There are no downsides. I'm satisfied. However, if you apply lipstick immediately after using this, the color won't show up. You need to wait a bit before applying lipstick. Since it's a thick product, I only apply it to my lips after brushing my teeth or when they feel dry. I tried this product when my skin was dry, and it even helps with deep dryness. I was hesitant to buy it at first since it was new to me, but I think I'll use it well. It's great that I can apply it liberally on various dry areas, and it's a convenient size to carry around. The texture is similar to Vaseline, making it difficult to spread. Some say mixing it with oil helps it spread better, but I gave up on that idea because I thought adding oil would make my face feel too heavy. It's very sticky, so my hair keeps sticking to my face after application. I end up only using it at night. It might be a bit heavy for summer, so I apply my regular cream first, then use this product around my eyes and nasolabial folds.
