This is the only highlighter I've ever used! I was too scared to try powder types because they might fly everywhere, so I stick with this cream stick version. When you apply it very gently and pat it in with a sponge or your fingers, it creates a beautiful pink beam! It has a lovely rose scent. I kept having issues with powder highlighters breaking, so I switched to a stick version and it's holding up well! The color looked beautiful when I swatched it on the back of my hand... It cakes up like crazy. It manages to find dead skin cells I didn't even know I had! Total disaster. I ended up having to redo my entire base makeup. Gently applying it with your fingertips helps a bit... But honestly, the best tip is not to use it at all. I rarely write reviews, but this was so awful I had to open the Hwahae app just to share my experience.

But this product really makes me ponder... If I had to say something positive, I guess the case is cute? The color itself isn't bad either. This product is really, really disappointing. First of all, you might be able to see in the photo, but when you apply it, it clumps terribly (the top is multiple swatches, the bottom is a single swatch). And it's not a product that melts smoothly as it's applied, so if you use it directly from the stick, it just pills. You have to rub it with your fingers and pat it on... And because it doesn't adhere well, it sits on top of the skin. So frustrating! Rather than using it as a highlighter for areas like the T-zone and cheekbones, I found it works better when applied to the aegyo sal (under-eye puffiness)... I love patting it in with my hands and finishing with an air cushion. It naturally acts as a highlighter, which is great! The downside is that it can accentuate pores a bit. However, it's perfect for using as a highlighter just on the bridge of the nose. I loved how the pink beam color gave me a radiant, lively look! However, the pilling is so severe that it rolls off whether I apply it directly from the container, with my fingers, or even with a puff... After using this, I'm avoiding stick-type products altogether! The best method I found was patting it on gently with my fingers, but even then, it takes off my base skincare along with it...

The pearl particles are large and vivid, making it great for creating a distinct highlighter effect. Being a pink highlighter, the color is beautiful and would suit those with cool undertones well. The stick format makes it convenient to apply - just swipe it on and blend with a sponge or brush. It's also compact, making it perfect for carrying in your makeup pouch. It's a bit disappointing that the product quantity is small and the price is on the higher side. However, it's still relatively cheaper compared to other brands, which is a silver lining. I think it would have been even more convenient if it had a brush attached to the end - that's one aspect I find slightly lacking. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments!
