First off, I love that the packaging matches the lipstick color exactly, making it super easy to identify shades! Application: - It's wonderfully moisturizing, with a softness that could easily replace your lip balm. Color: - I'd recommend testing it if possible, but nude tone lovers can confidently buy this right away! However, the color seems to become a bit ambiguous the more you apply. Dead skin cells: - There's a slight emphasis on dead skin cells the more you apply, unfortunately. Staying power: - For such a hydrating lip product, it lasts surprisingly long! It's a bit disappointing that it emphasizes dead skin cells more as you layer it on. However, it's not too severe! If you want a deeper color, apply this fully twice and then layer your desired shade on top. This product saved all those gifts I couldn't use because they were too red! It's a real lifesaver! It only works as a base. If you apply it alone, it makes your lips look even paler than their natural color. For best results, use it as a base, then dab a red lipstick in the center of your lips. After using other lip products and suffering from a lip allergy for about a week, I finally decided to splurge on this beauty. Surprisingly, it feels lightweight on the lips and has more of a velvety finish rather than a matte one. While the color is gorgeous and the pigmentation is fantastic, the staying power is... well, let's just say it's a bit of a challenge. To be fair, surviving as one of my lip products is a bit of an extreme sport, but this was probably the least long-lasting lipstick I've tried. Still, if you reapply every couple of hours, it's absolutely divine! Be careful not to use this with lip balm, as it'll completely disappear! Make sure to apply this product alone. Absolutely no dead skin cell accentuation. Great staying power and adherence. Perfect for autumn or winter with its subdued color. Who knew a light shade could be so sexy? It's a color that really complements warm skin tones. This is my holy grail.. MAC has several lines, but the Lip Intensity is truly exceptional. Unlike bullet lipsticks where you need to open them to see the color, this one shows the lip color on the entire cap, making it instantly recognizable. For me, there were no drawbacks, but if I had to pick one... perhaps that it's not a color suited for spring or summer? It might be a bit much for the Korean-style makeup that favors intense lip colors... In autumn and winter, this alone is enough, while in spring and summer it works well as a gradient on the outer lips. Use this as a base and blend a darker tint from the center outwards. As someone with a warm skin tone, this is a perfect match for me. The application experience is fantastic. The way it glides on is exceptional - it feels moisturizing yet dries to a semi-matte finish. The staying power isn't particularly impressive. Also, it looks a bit toy-like, doesn't it?

It's not quite matte, but it's moisturizing and long-lasting with a delightful, almost bouncy texture. The staying power is impressive, and I love that I can mix different Lip Intensity shades while maintaining that amazing texture. It feels so comfortable on the lips, and I can't stop pressing my lips together! The packaging is totally my style, and I keep eyeing the new Brick Dust shade too! I was worried about the potential for emphasizing dead skin cells, as some had mentioned. To be honest, it's not completely free from this issue. However, compared to Peripera, it's much better. Even some of my high-end department store lipsticks can emphasize flakiness depending on the shade, so I wouldn't consider this a deal-breaker. As described, it's a light rose-brown with a slight white undertone. I'm diagnosed as a 23 with a deep undertone, and when I wear this lipstick alone, it feels a bit lacking - not quite 'concealer lips', but close. It's as if it needs a bit more color depth. That's why I love layering Habanero from the same Lip Intensity line in the center and blending it out - it creates the most beautiful look, truly my holy grail lip combo! If you find Smoked Almond a bit underwhelming on its own, I highly recommend trying this! Alternatively, mixing it with a non-matte burgundy lip color like Revlon 525 works beautifully too. I usually don't like bullet lipsticks because they're too dry, but Lip Tensity is much more moisturizing and has just the right consistency! I also love that the color doesn't wash me out. It feels a bit heavy on the lips, and since it's so moisturizing, it tends to leave lip marks quite easily.
