First off, I love how the design isn't over-the-top - it's simple and elegant. The hydration isn't half bad either. When applied, it doesn't feel as smooth as other lip balms. There's a slight dryness to it, if I'm being honest. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2020
It applies lightly and smoothly, with a refreshing scent that I really enjoyed. What's particularly satisfying is that it doesn't moisturize by leaving an oily feeling, but rather by absorbing deeply into the skin, giving a truly hydrated sensation. Admittedly, its moisturizing power does seem slightly less effective compared to some other lip balms. If you're in search of a lightweight lip balm that doesn't leave a greasy residue, I would recommend this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 17, 2018
I snagged this at a great price during a sale. The mint-colored lip balm case is absolutely adorable. It's hard to call this a lip balm given how poor the hydration is. The mint scent is overpowering, and there's no moisturizing effect when applied. Instead of improving my lips, using this balm actually made them worse. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 20, 2018
After applying it for about half a day, I noticed a significant improvement in dead skin cell removal. Initially, I thought the hydration might be lacking compared to my usual deeply moisturizing lip balm, but I was pleasantly surprised by its unexpected effectiveness. Instead of feeling sticky, it leaves a slightly powdery finish, making it perfect to apply before makeup. I'd recommend applying it, then gently wiping it off just before putting on a matte lipstick for the best results. I always prefer stick products because I dislike getting product on my hands, but this one was difficult to twist up. I often had to push it up with my fingers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 21, 2017
As someone who considers lip balm a must-have, I've always used stick types. That's how I found this product. The design is clean and appealing. It applies smoothly. The stick is firm and sturdy. I've used many lip balms, but this might be the worst one yet. The texture, if that's what you'd call it, feels heavy on the lips when applied. To put it nicely, it's velvety. Perhaps due to its heaviness, it feels like it applies too thickly. I prefer moisturizing and hydrating types, but this product doesn't feel hydrating at all. Instead, it feels like it might cause dead skin cells to appear. Personally, I don't find the mint scent particularly pleasant. Overall, I dislike both the application process and how it feels afterwards. I can't wait to use this up and switch to a different product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinOct 23, 2017
At first, this product felt dry, but after using about two tubes, my lips adapted to this lip balm! I had been searching for a lip balm with good ingredients, and I'm so happy to have found this one. The lip balm doesn't have a shine, which was a bit odd when applying, but it still makes my lips feel healthier! It's perfect for my lips. Due to the lack of shine, there's a slight difference in glossiness compared to when using a shiny lip balm as a base for lipstick. It might feel a bit dry when you first start using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 4, 2017
I fell in love with this product after checking its ingredients, and wow... I was surprised by its matte finish, unlike other lip balms! The best part is that teachers at middle school can't even tell I'm wearing it! I can't think of any major drawbacks! If I had to mention one thing, it might be that it's not as moisturizing during winter months. - et******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessMay 18, 2017
I'm writing this review after finishing an entire tube. I've tried many lip balms, but this texture is a first for me. Usually, you feel the moisture or richness immediately, and your lips get a shine, but this one applies very silky and without gloss. It feels like it goes on thin and comfortable. After using this for a while, I tried my old honey lip balm again, and it felt so sticky in comparison! If you apply a generous amount before bed, it won't necessarily plump up dead skin cells dramatically by morning, but it softens them enough that you can gently exfoliate without pain. I think this would be great for people who don't like the super oily feel and shine of typical lip balms. When you apply it, it's not obvious you're wearing lip balm. The case is a pretty matte pastel mint color, which I think nicely represents the texture of this lip balm. It's great for light application in summer and everyday use, but I'm not sure how it would perform in the dead of winter. Also, I don't think it would suit those with very dry lips, as it feels more like it's providing a light hydration rather than creating a protective barrier. The texture is unique, and while it's convenient to use, I might repurchase during a sale or with a 1+1 deal. At first, the texture felt unfamiliar, but once I got used to it, I found it quite nice. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJan 12, 2017
It looks even more moisturized when applied over tint or lipstick. There's a slight cooling sensation that feels refreshing. For someone like me with very chapped lips and a lot of flaking, it's not suitable for moisturizing or caring for the lips. Applying a thin layer over lip tint makes your lips appear more hydrated.
