I loved how it combined the best features of tints and lipsticks. It's conveniently portable and creates a natural gradient effect, which I found very satisfying. It's a shame this product has been discontinued. I really wish they would bring it back with an updated formula. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 4, 2020
It creates a moisturizing and natural-looking lip. The lip color sometimes leans towards a lip balm shade. It tends to break easily. - dh****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 20, 2019
Strangely, I feel like I've tried various types of Laneige Two Tone Lip products, whether lip balms or lipsticks... Either as gifts or ones I've collected myself! I've tried the lip balms in Tomato, Apple Jelly, Tint Mint, and now Cherry Milk. As the name suggests, it's a ripe cherry color. While it's a burgundy shade, it's not too intense. When mixed with the lip balm, it creates a rare, delicate look. I have a feeling it would look absolutely stunning on winter cool tones. It's not a perfect match for my face, so I use it as a quick lip balm substitute when I'm in a hurry. The pros seem to be its moisturizing effect and how it naturally creates a gradient look. Once some of the moisture evaporates, the color tends to last quite well too! As always, I feel the price is a bit steep. The packaging seems a bit flimsy. Also, since it's a moisturizing lip product, it does transfer a bit! If you apply multiple layers with some time in between, you can achieve a glass-like lip effect. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 17, 2019
The gradient effect was easy to achieve, and the stick format made application a breeze. Unfortunately, the V-shape design allowed the tint to encroach on the lip balm area, gradually coloring the balm over time. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 4, 2019
The color gradient is absolutely stunning (I have a warm complexion). The scent is not off-putting at all; in fact, it's a fragrance I adore. It's almost... edible? Haha! The product photos are true to life, no touch-ups needed. The value for money is questionable... I wonder if this quality is really the best they could offer at this price point. The staying power is a bit lacking too. The biggest drawback, though - and this might be true for most moisturizing lip tints - is that it transfers onto your teeth easily. If you're not careful, you might end up with a disaster when you smile. Despite these issues, I'm considering repurchasing because the colors are just so beautiful. My lips tend to look a bit puffy, but this creates a lovely, subtle gradient. It's not too red, nor does it have that bluish-purple tint that can make you look sickly. If you apply it over BB cream or foundation, you can achieve a more vibrant color payoff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 25, 2018
It's moisturizing and the color isn't as intense as it looks! Plus, the scent isn't off-putting and the packaging is pretty! Honestly, it doesn't seem worth the price and it's too soft. It smudged while applying. The ingredients are questionable. The color looks natural and pretty when first applied in the morning, with a nice flush, but as you reapply it turns more purple or lavender. The staying power is very weak, so you need to reapply often. The more you reapply, the more it emphasizes dead skin cells. I'm writing this because there seem to be a lot of promotional posts! When reapplying, it helps to gently exfoliate with a toner-soaked cotton pad or wipe to remove dead skin cells. Then apply the product and occasionally use a clear lip balm in between. This seems to work well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 15, 2018
It's truly the prettiest one, I love it! It's moisturizing and perfect for daily use There's not much to complain about, but I wish the red tone was just a bit stronger - ch********Combination SkinMar 29, 2018
Great for a natural look! While the tint part looks dark, it's not too intense when applied. However, those with fair skin or who prefer lighter lip colors might find it a bit dark. It has a lip balm-like texture, gliding on smoothly without emphasizing dead skin cells, making it comfortable to wear. The lip balm part is fine, but the darker tint section tends to dry out over time, leaving the inner lips feeling parched. Surprisingly long-lasting for a lip balm though, probably due to the staining effect. For the best look, try applying the tinted triangle part a bit wider towards the outer edges of your lips. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 19, 2018
The color is absolutely gorgeous! With one or two applications, you get this transparent deep red - it's like having cherry-like lips. Apply it a few times and it's like overripe cherries! Honestly, if a lip product has a beautiful color, that's all that matters! When applied, it gives such a pure, fresh look. It's burgundy, but not an intense, bold burgundy. Instead, it's more like the cherry-red lips of an innocent beauty. Unless you apply it very heavily, it's more of a cherry red than a burgundy. I was worried about buying it online, but it's truly a holy grail product. I'll definitely repurchase! It's a bit waxy and mixed with lip balm, so the staying power isn't great... You'll need to reapply it habitually, but who cares when the color is this pretty? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinFeb 12, 2018
I love the sweet, candy-like scent. It has a unique shape too! The color payoff is different from what I saw online. After application, it seems to emphasize dead skin cells.
