My natural skin tone is shade 10, but I bought shade 11 with a yellow base to counteract redness. It applies incredibly thin and offers medium-high coverage, so natural-looking that even my mom can't tell if I'm wearing makeup. Though pricey, it's perfect for a no-makeup makeup look or for students. Considering the high price, the amount seems too small. Other cushions usually last about six months, but this one ran out after only three or four months of use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 23, 2018
The shade is great! It matches my skin tone perfectly. I usually wear shades between 22-23, and this one fits just right. Oh no, it's way too matte! My sister recommended it, and when I just dabbed a bit under my eyes, I didn't notice how matte it was. But wow... when I applied it all over, it's really, really matte. Those with dry skin should definitely avoid this. I wish I had known before I bought it... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinFeb 2, 2018
While the coverage is light, it makes your skin look great. It applies with a soft, powdery finish, and the color is bright and natural-looking, which I really like. There's not really anything disappointing about it, but you absolutely can't expect high coverage. If you have blemishes on your face, you might find it uncomfortable to use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 29, 2017
This product has minimal coverage and provides a matte finish. The pilling effect depends on what you apply in the previous base step. I liked how it applies thinly and leaves a powdery finish without needing additional powder. The coverage is extremely low. It applies transparently and doesn't conceal much. Even layering doesn't significantly improve the coverage. - lo****Oily SkinSensitive SkinJul 20, 2017
The positives are overflowing! Among the many shades, No. 11 beautifully brightens and evens the skin tone for average complexions. No. 10 might be a bit too light. It adheres well to the skin, instantly sticking when applied. While it doesn't feel very moisturizing during application, it's not drying either - instead, it feels light and fresh. It's a matte finish with absolutely no shine, which I love! Moreover, it's incredible at controlling oil. No powder needed, and no touch-ups required all day (and I've been an oily skin citizen for over 30 years...). I've had cushions that last half a day, but all day? This is a first. Even in this peak oily summer... its staying power is monstrous. It doesn't break down, doesn't slide off, just stays beautifully put on your face all day. Buying this cushion might be the best decision I've made this year! If you have combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone, get this! While I wasn't particularly disappointed, the coverage is medium to medium-high. For me with lots of blemishes it's fine, but for clearer skin, the coverage might seem high. The mirror only opens to 90 degrees, and there's no refill included despite the high price, but I'll stick to this cushion... If a product performs well and has pretty packaging, I don't mind the cost! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 27, 2017
Moisturizing inside, silky smooth outside, and long-lasting - it's amazing! The design is so tempting, I couldn't resist buying it. At first, I got shade 10, which was nice, but something felt missing. While others look for a bright complexion, I'm always searching for the most natural-looking shade. So, the next day, I bought shade 11 as a refill. Initially, I wasn't sure about it - is it too dry? What's this? But by the second or third day, I could feel how hydrating it was when I patted it on after my skincare routine. With all the pollen flying around these days, this matte finish is perfect compared to dewy types. That doesn't mean it lacks glow though! If dewy cushions give you an outer glow, this one gives you more of an inner glow feeling. It doesn't feel drying even for dry skin types, though those with very dry skin might not love it. I didn't notice any issues with it breaking down throughout the day. I've always used cushions, but I heard foundations are better for dry skin, so I'm thinking of trying their foundation too! The price is terrible compared to other brands that offer refills! My routine goes like this: Primera Organience Water (3 skins) or IOPE Bio Essence (2 skins), then Donginbi Jasengginseng or Jin or Aqua Pack Essence, followed by Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin or Physiogel, Dr. G Mild Sun, VDL Illuminating Base, and finally this makeup. When I do my makeup in the morning, I only need to touch up my lips and eyes by evening! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 25, 2017
My skin is naturally very fair with cool undertones, so finding the right BB cream or foundation has always been a struggle. I even bought SK2 CC cream because it was supposed to be light, but it was still too yellow and dark for me. Then I stumbled upon this Dior product at their counter and tested it - it was a perfect match for my complexion! I immediately bought it. I took it with me to Bangkok and used it enthusiastically. Even in the sweltering summer heat when I was sweating profusely, the coverage was absolutely incredible! What's more, usually when I touch up my makeup, my skin tends to react badly, but with this product, that wasn't an issue at all. That made me love it even more! If you have dry skin and don't prep your skin thoroughly, it can make your skin look quite parched. Also, it's not exactly budget-friendly. The sales associate gave me a great tip: around 3 PM when your face starts to get oily, just gently pat the product on and it instantly controls the shine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 10, 2017
Coverage... hydration... staying power... top-notch. Honestly, along with Forever Perfect, this is a holy grail I'll use for life. I have large pores and internal heat that makes my face flush in various areas - acne-prone skin. But this foundation doesn't care about any of that. It's a godsend for foundation users. There are absolutely no downsides. None whatsoever. I love it so much. There's nothing to complain about... Oh wait, the price is quite steep... - sw*******Combination SkinMar 5, 2017
I initially tried the #10 sample and loved the finish and lasting power, so I bought #11 with a slightly yellow base. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I appreciated that it lacked the typical stickiness of cushions and had a powdery finish without feeling dry. The pore coverage is excellent, and rather than giving a radiant look, it provides a natural, smooth, matte finish. It doesn't create a dewy or honey-like glow, but instead gives a smooth porcelain-like appearance. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those expecting high coverage. It's great for basic skin texture and tone correction. I bought this because the initial feel and natural finish were good, but why does it break down unattractively around the nose and smile lines with continued use? It wasn't like this with the sample. It cracks in wrinkle-prone areas, and the chin area especially collapses like a drought after 2 hours of wear. After a while, my friend pointed out that my makeup looks very patchy around the mouth. The forehead and cheek areas with less movement stay intact as when first applied. While it's great that it doesn't produce excess oil, I'm not sure if I'm applying the base incorrectly. I'll have to try different base products. It's a shame to waste it because of the price. Make sure to prep your skin thoroughly before use. While it doesn't severely emphasize dead skin cells, it does reveal flakes you didn't even know you had. Otherwise, the skin finish is nice, and I recommend it for those who like a powdery finish that doesn't stick to hair. It might work well for people without fine lines and those with good oil and moisture balance overall. If you have oily areas or many wrinkles, get a sample from the store, test it, and think twice before purchasing. Otherwise, it may break down in patches like a drought. The matte formula might cause it to deteriorate unattractively. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 26, 2017
Dior, oh my! The design is fantastic. It applies thinly with excellent adherence. The staying power is truly impressive. No darkening occurs. Leaves a soft, matte finish. Although the ingredients aren't exceptional, I didn't experience any blemishes. For color reference, the left side in the photo is 011 full-size, and the right is 010 sample. The price shows no mercy. Using it in winter made my skin dry and flaky. No dewy or textured glow. I heard 011 had a yellow base, so I expected it to be slightly darker and more natural, but it's a bit light for my shade 22 skin. When applied, 010 looks more natural! Compatible with Amore Pacific cushions (Hera, Lirikos, Espoir, etc.). No flaking when using the 7-skin method. Perfect for controlling excess oil in summer!
