It seems our skin is the first to notice the changing seasons. Already, you might feel your skin tightening and drying out. This cushion, however, delivers a burst of hydration with every application. It has excellent absorption, allowing for a non-drying base makeup even during seasonal transitions. I was initially concerned it might be heavy, but the particles are fine, adhering well to the skin and applying thinly. The coverage is impressive too, concealing small blemishes and redness. Its staying power is remarkable - it lasts long without the need for touch-ups. The shade runs slightly darker than the standard range. Those with oily skin might find the texture a bit rich. - vi*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 17, 2020
As someone with dry skin and a slightly darker complexion, this brightening moisturizer works wonders for me. I wasn't too concerned about coverage since I don't have much to conceal. It's so hydrating that I've come back to it after trying other cushion foundations. If coverage is a priority for you, this product might fall a bit short in that department. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2019
I switched from using products for my 20s, and this one has a great texture and feels gentle on the skin Shade 23 is slightly dark, but it might work well when used together with shade 21. The adherence seems a bit lacking - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 20, 2019
Even on days when my skin isn't at its best, this foundation doesn't look patchy and provides excellent coverage. It's truly my holy grail product. While the longevity might be slightly lacking, it fades gracefully, so I find it acceptable. If you've had disappointments with cushion foundations before, I highly recommend giving this one a try. Some say shade 23 is dark, but I find the color perfect, and overall, it's a cushion with very few flaws to speak of. - 32****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessSep 2, 2018
(For oily, sensitive, redness-prone, blemish-prone skin, shade 23, prefers yellow undertones) It's nicely moisturizing for use during seasonal changes. The coverage is quite good too! The THEFACESHOP N203 color matches my complexion best! This Lilybyred shade is a bit darker than my skin tone. It also has grayish and reddish undertones. So it doesn't suit me very well. While the coverage is good, it does emphasize pores a bit. When it breaks down, it's just so-so... I use it for contouring! It also fits in THE FACE SHOP Disney cases! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2018
This is an excellent compact for those with dry skin - it's wonderfully hydrating. Even when I've done a thorough skincare routine, my cheeks sometimes get dry, but this product keeps them nicely moisturized. The coverage is pretty good too. The makeup doesn't last very long, so you need to touch up frequently. I suppose that's the trade-off for its hydrating properties. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 17, 2018
I tried my friend's and it was moisturizing with good coverage, so I bought one. But it's not that great. Personally, I don't recommend it. The darkening is really severe. The original color is already dark, and while it seems to brighten the complexion slightly when first applied, it turns almost clay-colored when removed. Also, it applies too thickly, making you look like a dark porcelain doll. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 14, 2018
As someone with sensitive, acne-scarred, and dehydrated oily skin, most products irritate me, but this one didn't. Even with my dermatitis, it didn't make things worse. It doesn't break down messily and keeps my skin hydrated. The color is too reddish, which is disappointing. Also, the staying power is a bit short. Rather than breaking down, it seems to get absorbed into the skin over time, making the color appear darker. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 28, 2017
With winter drying out my skin, I was on the hunt for a hydrating cushion foundation. This one fits the bill nicely. The coverage and application are pretty good. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong shade, making my skin look too yellow and dark. As time passes, it also tends to emphasize the pores around my nose area. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 31, 2017
This product is just really solid all around, without any extreme pros or cons. It's comfortably middle-of-the-road. The coverage isn't particularly good or bad, but the adherence seems pretty decent... it doesn't look cakey. The staying power is good too. Some cushions might excel in one area but fall short in others, making them tricky to use. This one, while not outstanding in any particular aspect, is generally good or satisfactory across the board, which makes it very user-friendly. Best of all, I don't experience any blemishes or redness after using it. That's the biggest plus for me. The downsides are... it can be a bit drying, and it does allow some oil to come through on the face. But it's not extremely drying or anything like that... It's more like, sometimes you notice it, sometimes you don't. It's at a level where it's noticeable if you're paying attention, but not a major issue if you're not focused on it.
