The biggest advantage is the gentle ingredients - that's a major plus! While fragrances are generally okay in rinse-off products, I heard from my hairstylist that silicone ingredients like dimethicone, though they make hair feel smooth initially, don't actually nourish the hair like proteins or oils. With prolonged use, silicone can build up on damaged hair, making it worse over time. This product uses natural oils, so I feel reassured! Also, after rinsing, if products with harsh ingredients touch your back or neck, they can cause bacne. Even though we don't directly apply conditioner to the scalp, contact with products containing irritating ingredients can worsen scalp issues or skin conditions like psoriasis. Being a natural product, this one gives me peace of mind, and I didn't experience any blemishes! Another great point is its 5.5 pH level! Just like for skin, a slightly acidic pH is less irritating for hair and helps prevent damage. Since I have an oily scalp, I often use clarifying shampoos, so an acidic conditioner helps balance things out. Considering the quality ingredients and quantity, the price is quite reasonable! I loved the fresh lemon scent, and it didn't leave my hair feeling overly rich after use. This isn't really a drawback, but since it's mostly natural ingredients, don't expect dramatic results. It might be slightly disappointing for bleached or severely damaged hair. Also, the scent doesn't linger for long. But for normal hair, these aren't major issues. Since natural oils are the main ingredients, you can use it as a hair mask by applying it and leaving it on for a bit before rinsing. Although it's been discontinued, you can still find it online! - da******Combination SkinAcne SkinNov 21, 2018
Perfect for those seeking a lightweight hydrating treatment with great ingredients. Use this with the mindset of light hydration. It's different from treatments containing silicone. The scent is a blend of lemon and ginger! I initially disliked it because I'm not fond of ginger, but the ginger isn't overpowering. It's mixed with lemon, and after using it a few times, I found it quite pleasant. Keep in mind, it's not a bright, zesty lemon scent. I recommend alternating this with other treatments or hair masks that provide richer nourishment. - db******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 27, 2018
Compared to store-bought conditioners, the ingredients in this are excellent. The lemon scent makes it so refreshingly invigorating! Grapefruit peel oil and lemon oil don't seem to agree with my skin. I think that's why I'm getting blemishes around the outer areas of my face. - al*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 12, 2018
I use this on my permed hair hoping for a voluminous hairstyle. While the shampoo is a bit thick and doesn't lather well, the conditioner isn't runny and really works wonders on my hair texture! I'm really loving the volume effect I was hoping for from the conditioner. It would be great if the shampoo could provide some volume boost too. Make sure to squeeze out excess water from your hair before applying. I only apply it to the ends and tie my hair in a bun. I wash my body or face, then rinse out the conditioner after letting it sit for a while. - js******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 4, 2018
I've been using this for about a month now, and compared to when I was just using shampoo, my hair has become noticeably calmer and healthier. The ingredients are gentle, and it's a great product in many ways. When it runs out, I plan to repurchase and use only this for a while. I haven't found any drawbacks yet. However, I do wish there was a larger size available. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJul 30, 2018
As someone with oily skin, I find this product's hydrating properties perfect for winter use. Being an Aromatica product, I'm also reassured about its ingredients. Despite being a volumizing conditioner, it doesn't leave my hair feeling bouncy or fluffy after drying. In fact, it feels rather rich in summer, almost to the point of being greasy. With my oily skin, it's definitely not suitable for summer use, but might work well in winter. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJul 27, 2018
The ingredients are mostly gentle, so you can apply it with confidence. The lemon scent is absolutely delightful - it's totally my style! It comes in a white cream formula. After shampooing, apply this, leave it on for a few minutes, then rinse for silky-smooth hair. Since it's a natural product, you can't expect dramatic results. My hair texture isn't great, so that could be a factor, but it seems like the softness doesn't last long and my hair quickly reverts to its original state. I think it would work even better if you leave it on for a longer time or use a hair cap after applying. - sy*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2018
As someone with oily hair that tends to fall out easily and lacks volume, I noticed a remarkable difference after using this product! It provides ample hydration while reviving volume. I especially love the refreshing lemongrass scent. The consistency is a bit thin, so when I squeeze it into my hand to apply to my hair, it keeps dripping onto the floor. Such a waste! This works wonders for those with oily hair types or lifeless, dry locks that need a volume boost. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinFeb 4, 2018
I used this conditioner with the matching shampoo in summer, and it has a sweet, honey-like scent. Since I used the same line, the shampoo had a lemon fragrance, so later it felt like my hair smelled like a refreshing lemon preserve? The combination wasn't bad at all! If you're not a fan of strong fragrances, this might not be the best choice for you. The Aromatica conditioner makes your hair soft like other conditioners and has a pleasant scent, so it's worth choosing carefully. If you only use the shampoo, your hair might feel a bit stiff, though. - ir********Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessJan 30, 2018
The moisture level is just right, not too rich. I've heard that dimethicone is added to anti-hair loss shampoos because if hair becomes too stiff and lacks softness, it can snag or tangle during washing or drying. That's why I always use at least a minimal amount of treatment. I apply it mainly to the ends, avoiding the scalp, then gently scrunch it in with my hands. After letting it sit briefly, I rinse it out. I'm so pleased with it that I've reordered both the shampoo and treatment as a set. Unless something changes, I'll likely keep repurchasing it regularly. While there's nothing particularly negative, it may not provide sufficient treatment for colored, damaged, or extremely dry hair. If you prefer a lightweight treatment that isn't greasy, this is great! Personally, I alternate between this and an argan hair mask. You can also supplement with a serum or oil after towel-drying. I use separate shampoos for my scalp and hair. First, I cleanse with a hair-focused shampoo. Then, I use a scalp shampoo, focusing on the scalp, and leave it for 3-4 minutes. After a quick rinse, I apply the treatment and scrunch it to generate heat. Finally, I thoroughly rinse for over 4 minutes. I always follow these four steps. Maintaining healthy hair is just as crucial as skincare. It's better to prevent hair loss than to regret it later. Finding the right shampoo and proper washing technique for you is key!
